Burnes, Yelich, and Adames have all had bad outings or stupid mistakes. Taylor and the young bullpen arms are what's kept them in it.

Especially since every guy in the bullpen will get used tonight. You have to figure Williams will pitch the ninth even if they are still behind. Peralta has to go tomorrow win or lose and give them quality innings.

You mean that one could have anticipated that a guy who hadn't faced live pitching since July 24th would struggle?
Counsell has been a great manager for the Brewers, but he's not exactly distinguished himself in the post-season since 2018.
Yelich looked like he was practicing his pitching wedge with that swing.
This has all the vibe of the Diamondbacks putting up about 5 insurance runs in the 9th.
