3 consecutive hard hit balls.

Not yet, but Burnes has to get the to the 7th without more damage.

4. A loud out for the second out in the 3rd.

Little to early to think this way. And they are not behind.
A lot of pitches so far for Burnes.

That might be rough. Burnes threw a lot of pitches that inning and is up to 64 in 3 innings. In case anybody hasn't noticed, I keep a close eye on the pitch count. LOL.
Turang really worked that at bat. He had no chance of hitting a ball in play, but he refused to chase.
Hard to get upset with Taylor, but make him throw a strike after that walk.
Love chasing a starter early, letβs burnout that bullpen early
bases full of Brewers, Taylor at the plate.

You and Scott Boras in this case.
Left 6 guys on base through 3 innings.
2019 Burnes picking a bad time to show up. Just getting shelled. These are hard hit home runs,.
The ball is carrying, tonight, per Uecker.
This just seems like one of those games. Donaldson can't get the guy in from third with one out and the Brewers strand 6 guys through three innings. AZ comes up with a HR and takes the lead.

Did he mention the pitches are hanging also?

One of those games where your ace pitcher who is going to get traded after the year and sign a 150 million contract with someone else craps the bed?
You expect the Brewers to struggle to get runners in. Their offense just isn't very good.
You need your #1 starter to come up big. He didn't.
So, you mean the hitters you face in the playoffs are generally better? And if your hitting wasnβt great the pitchers you face are better as well?
Got it
This is the game Milwaukee has to win. Cmon now.

Corbin Burnes is not some average starter that you want to get by with. He's supposed to be a guy who can shut down anyone. You expect this from Wade Miley or Adrian Houser.
I think you have to get Burnes out here. He looks like he's just mentally shot at this point.
They have to pull him
My point is with this shitty offense it puts a ton of pressure on the pitchers. No excuse for Burnes playing like crap but the odds of the offense bailing them out are slim to none
Burnes and the cutter ainβt working
The Brewers claimed in arbitration that Burnes didn't deserve a bigger salary in arbitration because he came up small when they needed him the most (2022 pennant race).
Tonight he proved them right.
thats it for Burnes 4+ innings 92 pitches

3 runs in the first 3 innings should have taken the pressure off.
Growing tired of WI professional teams studs shitting the bed in the playoffs.
Especially after being given a 3 -0 lead.

He blew a 3 run lead and gave up 3 HRs. Having a 3 run lead certainly isn't pressure. He gets too cute, showing off his 8 pitches. Glanville said it best when he hung Carroll a change up after making him look lost with cutters.
Not sure about using Uribe here. He hits some wild streaks and 2 inherited runners is not ideal.
Burnes wasnβt the issue in 2022. They traded Josh Hader and the team completely mailed it in after that.
You go into the playoffs without Woody and a crap offense and your margin of error is basically zero.
You want to get tired of something, how about trying to strike gold on flyers that rarely work out.
Without Burnes this team doesnβt sniff the playoffs the last few years.
Uribe saves their season, at least for now.
18-14 in games Burnes started. They'd still make the playoffs this year.
Uribe gets out of it.

I agree with you, but the argument the Brewers used against him in arbitration (which Burnes was quoted as saying really bothered him) was that they went on the losing streak last August, Burnes wasn't the stopper they needed him to be.
That was a helluva jam to work out of.
I get it Corbin Burnes sucks. Letβs see how well they do after heβs gone.
Itβs like people griping about Giannis having a bad game. It happens.
Back come the Crew, tying run, and go ahead run on base
Adames is a lot better hitter when he plays smart.
I actually like Doug Glanville doing color commentary here. He actually adds some insight.
FOB!
Bases jammmmed with Brewers, Turang at the plate.
