Moss waived!!!

As much as this guy is a waste of good oxygen, there are a few teams I would prefer pass on him--teams GB has to play or likely see in the playoffs:

Bears---No doubt about it, he would make Cutler better---the Eagles, or Redskins.

I just can't see any other NFC contenders (legit ones) that would go after him.


What I would love to see is Randy, Terrell, and Ocho all together in Cincy. Man that would be the best circus in the NFL (if it weren't for the vikes.)

ESPN has to protect the guy that made this move. Anyone that doesn't think this acquisition was 100% Favre is a sucker. Chilly is an idiot, no doubt, but that move to simply to placate Favre. Period.

If the Packers ended up getting Moss on waivers, how much of his salary would they have to pay him? It's too bad you couldn't pick him up and trade him right away. He is a d-bag, he can still help a team win. Even if he is available to us through waivers, I can't imagine TT taking him.

I saw that too and thought if Moss would have made a decent attempt to get to the ball that he could have had a TD.

You know I was just curious, does Chilly make a move like that, or is it someone at a higher level that makes the cuts like Rick Spielman? I wasn't sure if Chilly actually makes those moves or not. If he does, wow, they have given him way too much power.

It's a dysfunctional franchise that makes me appreciate TT more every day.

The Bengals should pick him up. Wouldn't it be too funny to see how Ochocinco, Owens and Moss could screw up a team even beyound what it is now.

Really? One guy made a move like this. Favre. Favre has been in love with Moss for years. Favre made this move, and to think otherwise is to ignore years and years of living it under Rhodes and Sherman.

Any team claiming Moss on waivers would owe him nine game checks (out of 16) of his $6.4 million base salary.

And news on Harvins ankle is that is is a "serious" ankle injury.

If they lose him for any extended period of time, I could see Favre just cashing it in and claim his ankle is too sore to play on.

TT because he has put together a roster that has proven its depth with 10(!) guys on IR. Almost any other team would have packed it in long ago, yet TT continues to find guys who are able to contribute right out of the gate. Guys goes down, another guy steps in (even if he was wearing a different jersey three days earlier). The roster he's put together (ok, minus that stud RB) is unreal when you think about it. Do you think he'd ever make the trade for a third next year and a seventh the year after for a locker room cancer like Moss?

Capers? How he's doing it with a JV defense week in and week out is a thing of beauty. And it shows what a truly gifted DC he is.

While I disagree with MM's playcalling more than agree, at least he doesn't let bad refereeing get to him so he looks like an idiot in public, he doesn't toss players under the bus in public, and he is a pro in the interview room.

I don't think New England would take him back. Belichick knew exactly what he was doing when he traded Moss. Rather than wait for Randy to blow up like he did yesterday Belichick let him go sooner to prevent something worse down the road. Some claimed the third round pick wasn't enough. It sure looks pretty good right now.
