IOffense is a push on a position by position basis - the big difference being a healthy AR and no Jordy.

I love Jordy, but I'll take a mobile AR any day. If Rodgers' calf wasn't bad, that Seattle game is a blowout. He couldn't roll out or take off and run for first downs. He's a great QB if he only throws from the pocket with Peyton Manning-level mobility. He's once in a lifetime when he's rolling out and buying time with his mobility.

Updates:

Julio Jones (toe) participated in walk through but no practice. Jonathan Babineaux, Taylor Gabriel, Keanu Neal limited

Jordy Nelson (ribs) won't practice today. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said he will work with the rehab group today. That's what Nelson did last week as well and didn't play vs. Dallas. Still considered a bit of a long shot for Atlanta.

Morgan Burnett (thigh) will also work with rehab group as well, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. He couldn't finish the Cowboys game.

WR Davante Adams also will work with the rehab group, coach Mike McCarthy said. Adams tweaked his left ankle late against the Cowboys.

What's the concern level for Packers WR Davante Adams and his left ankle injury? "We'll see," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. "I'm curious to see him move. I don't think he'll practice until Saturday."

McCarthy said Bakhtiari/Bulaga will work in a limited fashion. Rollins is close to clearing concussion protocol. Adams in the rehab group.

Lang said the energy around the building is different today. Players are amped up and ready for the opportunity to play for a Super Bowl.

Interesting to note that the Packers just finished playing five games against the Bears, Vikings, Lions, Giants and Cowboys.  They did that in Week 2 through Week 7 this season.  Week 8?  yes, they played Atlanta.  Interesting to see how the Packers improved by facing a team a second time.  Gives me enough hope to feel the Packers really should win this game.  I know there are injuries, but the Packers were without Cook, Cobb and Montgomery last time in Atlanta.

Boris, you should have bet OVER.  Looking for both teams over 35 this week.

(If you wanted the stats on Packers getting a second chance at the same team this year)

Gimpy Adams of course. He came back in and played the rest of the game while Janis and Davis were on the bench.

Surely Adams' ankle isn't going to be worse off next Sunday than is was when he was back playing minutes after the injury last Sunday.

Not to be a Danny Downer, but Adams came back and finished the Seattle game last year after injuring his ankle. He then proceeded to come back the next week against KC and last all of 4 plays. Obviously don't know how the situations compare, but him coming back against DAL doesn't necessarily tell us much about how the ankle will respond come Sunday.

The issue with Adams is that a large part of his effectiveness is being able to stick his foot in the ground and change direction on a dime or fake a direction change with a jab step. Few guys have that same ability. Adams can break the ankles of a DB. If his ankle doesn't allow him to do that, he isn't nearly as effective at getting open. He may end up being the decoy this weekend, with Geronimo stepping up.

Falcons' injury report: Julio Jones out with toe sprain, Taylor Gabriel and Keanu Neal limited by foot injuries, Jonathan Babineaux limited with shoulder injury.

Worth noting: Since the Packers last faced ATL, they placed their number 1 CB in Trufant on IR and will be without their #2 pass rusher as well.
