I crave info on Slaton. Sounds like Josh Meyers could be a starter out of the gate.
No pads yet but the Oline in general sounds like it's taken another step.
Time to use that 10 million on Dline Gunt.

Pass tomorrow. Even if Slaton is the second coming, we still need another DT.
It's pretty much older vets, which I'm more than fine with, or trades. Not sure what's left in FA at this point.
I'm excited for practice in pads next week. I guess we won't see the real nitty gritty quite yet.
Hot take...Slaton is gonna be as advertised. He will have a very one-dimensional skillset, but he's going to be the run-stuffing motherfucker we haven't had since GB93.
Big sexy... #vapors
We need him

Meyers starting sounds like a definite. Herman said no one else has taken any snaps with the starting unit yet.
12 said he was the most impressive rookie.

If he is a true hogger then Kenny is going to fucking blow up.
I read one weird thing about Slaton in draft bios. Supposedly he's a way better rusher and actually isn't as great a run stuffer? Maybe it's technique? 350 LBS slobs dunking gotta make you think he just needs some brain work on the NFL level.
@Parrothead posted:Is there no reason Love can't be traded if Rodgers has another good year? Just sayin'.
There's no market for him. Although someone would potentially grab him off waivers for a practice squad stint.

The thing is...he's 350+ but the dude ain't fat...he's just a mass of man. He's slimmed down to 330...can't wait to see him.
Reminds me of a kid we used to have at Fresno State they called "Party in the Backfield."
And while it seems like a charming euphemism for butthole pleasures, it was actually fitting because, though an inside player, he was always blowing things up...an interior pass rush that even on run plays caused enough havoc the play was essentially over.
KC has suffered from playing next two JAG's who can't draw a double team to save their lives, so he is pretty much getting double and tripled...I think Slaton could open that up for him...at least I hope.
I for one think he could be the steal of the draft.

Indy?
Garrapalo got traded.
Love will draw interest if he performs in preseason.
That's my pink feather
Excerpt from an article in the Athletic
-----------------
the beginning of training camp has been lightened by a more simple feud (we think) between nose tackle Kenny Clark and wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
Clark blames coach Matt LaFleur since he rearranged the Packersâ locker room to have Valdes-Scantling seated next to him.
âMVS, man, itâs been going on for a whole year. A whole year now,â Clark said. ââĶ Yâall know me, I donât talk much. Iâm chill. MVS, he just talks all day. We just pick fun at each other.â
Valdes-Scantling has compared Clarkâs physique to an air fryer and Snorlax, an overweight Pokemon. Clark exposed Valdes-Scantling for allegedly not showering before 4:50 p.m. on the first day in camp. Valdes-Scantling vehemently denied the allegation.
âI make fun of Kenny Clark on a regular basis,â Valdes-Scantling said. âHis lockerâs right next to mine, so I kind of walk in the building and say a joke at him pretty much every single day, something about his weight or how big his head is or whatever.â
Will this destroy the Packersâ team chemistry? Stay tuned.

MVS fucking with KC?!?!? TFF!
Fun following those 2 on the tweeter.

Plot twist. Kenny Clark has an alias. Itâs Sarah. He ate my food âđïļ. https://t.co/l6Wv9f4QJn

Hard to see what MVS' end game is here.
Ah, you've clearly never been a part of a bromance twitter volley.
Sorry, I'm a fucking adult.

The new Raji!
Who threw it?

Nope, sorry.
Colts signed Hundley a few days back.
They don't need no stinkin' Love!

I was thinking that watching that highlight video above.
Actually, I think he may be a bit better than Raji as a pass rusher.
At the least, if he can get enough penetration to clog up the middle so the QB can't step up in the pocket, I'd be satisfied. Actual pass rush pressure would be icing on the cookie.
The thing I hope the most for is that Slaton wants to be a star, and enjoy the notoriety and other benefits that come with it. I look forward to him and KC playing the 2 man DL sets on 3rd downs.
When I watched Slaton's college highlights I noted how important the up the middle pass rush can be with our solid OLB rush.... that disruption feeds right into the edge rushers.
I think the new "stop the run" is really "stop the run on your way to the QB" anyway.
