Yeah, so we can fire him as soon as 12 Is done and we have no QB waiting to take over. Let the fans decide the roster and he will soon join us on the sidelines.

Oh please...Packers are the most gentle organization in pro sports. Uncle Ted would still be calling the shots if he hadn't been traveling down Dementia Blvd at 100mph.

Gutey isn't going anywhere any time soon.

I know this can’t be true. But a friend of mine just said he heard in news break thst we traded for Odell Beckham

And the rights to Chad Ochocinco!

I think people are too focused on the “heir” aspect to the Love pick. Again I think it’s becoming clear, based on what they’re saying, that the pick truly was more of an investment pick than some succession plan. I can buy that and while I’m in agreement that I would have preferred a productive player instead of Love, I don’t think the logic is unsound. Buy a player you feel like is a great value, showcase him in preseason, and then flip him for more than what you paid. It’s a luxury pick, but you have the luxury when you fee you have a SB team already. Let’s be real: this team wasn’t a Patrick Queen or a Justin Jefferson away from a SB win. We didn’t lose because of Kris Barnes or Allen Lazard were starting. If you feel your team is complete enough to contend as-is then yeah you can afford to take some chances. Again the logic isn’t unsound, Gute more/less did nothing and the team was back in contention. It seems more like were/are a couple coordinators away than a single player away.

I wonder what the opinion of drafting Love would be today if Rodgers had continued to show decline in 2020 as he had in 2019.  Instead he had a MVP season and now the Love pick looks wasted. But if Rodgers had continued to decline the Love pick would have looked genius.  It just goes to show the NFL draft is a crap shoot no matter which side you are on.

Let’s be real: this team wasn’t a Patrick Queen or a Justin Jefferson away from a SB win.

Shitty opinion and shitty trope.

They damn well should have won last Sunday and should have been competitive against KC.  How could anyone argue "a little more talent" wouldn't have been a good thing.

I don't know who they would have taken, but there are 10 guys who could have helped more than Love.

That wasn’t so hard was it. 🙄 Sorry my opinions aren’t up to your standards, but seriously feel free to fuck off telling people their opinions are shitty when they haven’t come at you with the same energy.

Plenty of guys would have “helped” more than Love. I already said I think a productive player would have been better than Love. Krys Barnes and Allen Lazard being who they are did not make the difference though. Mike Pettine and Sean Mennenga being who they are certainly made a difference, so hopefully your 10 miracle workers includes coordinators. Maybe you could argue a better CB could have supplanted King, maybe another warm body in the interior DL could have made the rotation stronger and stopped Fournette. I don’t see a lot of killer picks right after 26 who would have tipped us into the SB.

A little less conversation, a little more tallant....

That's a song I can get behind!

Per Wiki.....In 2018, Woodley confirmed she was dating Australian-Fijian rugby union player Ben Volavola.[58][59] In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Woodley mentioned: "I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are".[60] In a 2019 interview, Woodley said: "I don't trust anyone. Dating's hard. I mean, I love sex. I love the power of emotional connection via physicality. Who doesn't? ... But love is scary."[61]

Or maybe he isn't interested in some vapid, shallow Stepfordwife like 95% of pro athletes whose jobs are 1)Baby machine, 2) look the other way when he's porking road-hoes.

Saw somewhere that the NFLPA and owners are currently negotiating the cap. Sounds like there's a chance it won't go down at all. If that's the case then GB could make some simple roster clearing move, restructure Rodgers and maybe Z and be in A LOT better shape. Basically won't know what the cap will be until literally when the new league year starts. Tampering season is tough this year.

Jets CB Brian Poole is again UFA after having another good year. He's the perfect antidote to the Slot WR that has killed GB, especially against King and Sullivan. Bring in a guy like him and draft a boundary CB that can be on an island and I think the D is in much better shape right away regardless of DC.

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The doom-and-gloom surrounding a plummeting salary cap might not be quite as bad as anticipated.   The 2021 salary cap could be about  $ 10 million higher than expected.

A lot of fans like to bag on "what me" Murphy, and sure why not? A face only a mother could love - like Nagler...

But, Murphy has done a good job representing the Packers interests at the league level, and he is more of a football mind than the 31 owners.
