That’s fine, but since they pissed away 3 full years of draft choices (sans Clark and Jones) and made the biggest gaffe possible by passing on you know who in 2017 it absolutely fucking matters even now.

They have been playing catch up building and rebuilding the roster ever since.   Rodgers taking up 20% of the cap wouldn’t matter if Gute didn’t have to overcompensate adding pass rushers and a pretty expensive safety in Amos because the 2015-2017 drafts were fucking atrocious.  They needed to pull the plug on TT much earlier and they didn’t.  That’s not Gute’s fault.

Maybe with TJW on the roster they still take Gary 12th overall.  But would they have added both Smiths?  Highly unlikely.  Let’s say they just added one of them.  The other 20MM per year slot could have been applied toward a WR or DE or ILB instead.  Or pony up for JJ Watt this year.

If I’m Gute I’m not real happy that my boss is letting me get pummeled in the press but it’s more of the same bullshit with Murphy.  If there is credit to be taken he’s the first guy there but when the shit hits the fan he’s nowhere to be found.

Personally, this is where Murphy needs to step in and earn his money.  Sit down with Rodgers and let him air his grievances and see if this can be fixed.

Can anyone else tell me how many 3 INT games there's been in the playoffs and that team won?  I'm going to say those wins are low to non-existent.

I can think of one that had 4 INT and that team won

Sounds like you appreciate Tompa Bay‘s philosophy and talent more. We’ve needed a Bucs fan around here since CalBuc left.

Lazy response.  Likely because you don't have a response worth two shits.

Let me summarize this entire argument for you chumps.

We are blindly subservient to any choad that portrays the Packers in only a positive light.  This non-thinking carries over to our daily lives as we are gladly slurp down the pablum that gives us warm num-nums.

JFC on a cracker.

You’re right.   We only blindly follow the Packers 100% of the time.  Fuck all the players.  The Packers FO can do no rong ever!

My man crush on TJW alone is not healthy but hey I guess I’m blindly subservient to Murphy and TT and the other positive light seeking choads.

Did you just say nom nom nom?

Let's go with this run down.

Who has a proven track record of being an idiot?

Murphy, check.

Ball, check.

Gunt now joins the club in spades.

Who ultimately manages the organization?  The FO?  Why yes, they do.  As Andrew Brandt, that traitor, clear stated this is a people business and this FO has kinda maybe failed with the most critical element.

Next point,

Who thinks the continual "build for the future" approach will work with a middling to slightly above average QB?  It won't.  Hell, going "all in" probably won't work either.  See: Minnesota Vikings.

So when exactly does the future become the right here and now?  Especially with an all world QB?

Rhetorical.

So please continue to point to every flaw in Rodgers individual games and then tell me he isn't the best option to win a Super Bowl with the right help.

Hell Gunt, you could've gotten rid of that cancer this year if the team won a Super Bowl.  I mean fuck that guy right?

A Super Bowl win wouldn't give you a blank check even through a rebuild would it?

You have a fanbase that shows up through decades of shit but you worry about having a kinda nice product that wins the regular season.  Keep that status quo going!

Fucking dunce.

Could they hire Brandt to serve as a mediator?  I mean, he’s a well respected guy that knows each side of the equation pretty well.

If nothing else AB could get to the bottom of what is actually bothering Rodgers and more importantly what he wants - and see if the team can meet those demands?

And then what did Rodgers do?  After being told "don't be the problem", which is really ingratiating in itself, Rodgers went out and did everything Mayo asked of him and won an MVP award.

"Don't be the problem".

Hey Murphy, why the fuck are you making football decisions in the first place?  Again, Brandt said it best, it's part of the job to deal with "diva stuff".

So that specific quote doesn't make Murphy successful.  It just makes you rough and tough "gubmint balance its checkbook" guys feel better.

Rodgers did what was asked of him and that's the kind of respect he gets.

This FO will absolutely start this organization circling the drain again.

Guess what Murphy, FA players don't want to play with you, they want to play with Rodgers and have a real shot at winning a Super Bowl.  You keep your tough guy bullshit up though, it looks great.

I think Brandt has traveled too far up Choad Highway to be useful at this point. He's become a media personality now.

Go get John Dorsey and make Eliot Wolf your head of personnel. Obviously, Eliot isn't ready to be a GM yet...he's been passed over more than a 3-day old prune danish. Or maybe you hire John Schneider as your president, and let him rebuild the tree.

None of us really know why Rodgers is acting the way he is.  Certainly not some of these media hacks.  Hell, I’m not sure the triangle of authority does either.

To remedy the problem you must first know what the problem actually is.  I’m not sure the FO is equipped to get there so again, get someone else involved to get to the bottom of it.  Perhaps this can’t be fixed, but at least then we have the answer and the team and Rodgers can move forward.

Eliot Wolf? Well, his decision making has been spot on. With every move he makes he moves further away from any GM jobs.

" Hey Murphy, why the fuck are you making football decisions in the first place?"

Right, that's Aaron's job.

No thanks on Dorsey.  He’s way too impulsive and honestly isn’t equipped to run the team.  He’s a loose cannon.

You would think Wolf would be an obvious choice, but the fact he’s ping ponged around the league this much and hasn’t advanced his career leads me to believe there are red flags there.

Schneider is probably the best of the group for a number of reasons.

Schneider would be great but I doubt he's going anywhere.  Not sure he'd want to be the president of a Harlan like organization structure where he isn't part of the team itself.

Murphy is a massive fucking problem and his tough guy bullshit is obviously the environment he pedals.  We all know that works exceptional well in the NFL.

"Tired of this diva stuff"

Then you should fucking quit because that's all the NFL is you cement block around this organization's neck.

It's never ending, CLICKS CLICKS CLICKS

"Knowing Aaron, and I think I know him fairly well, if he has a grudge, whether it be against the organization or a player or an arch-rival, or family, friends, he ain’t budging,” Favre said.

Favre is not wrong though. Trade the fucker on the first day of June and move on. Either that or give him the keys to the franchise. There is no middle ground with this guy. Just ask his mom.

I just want to go with Jordan Love at this point.  Jordan Love won't complain about the coaching staff. He won't bitch about the players on the roster. He won't go on Pat McAfee show and make cryptic comments that make my heroes in front office come in to question. He won't host Jeopardy or date a bunch of Hollywood starlets.

As a fan of the Packers (Not a player!), what I'm most concerned with is a lack of drama, players knowing their place and that place is that they are commodities replaceable at any time, and no nonsense MBA types leading the franchise from a financial standpoint and exploring interesting real estate development deals.

Aaron Rodgers might be the best QB to play the game. Aaron Rodgers without question gives the Packers a better opportunity to win football games today, tomorrow, and for the next 4-6 years. Aaron Rodgers might be the only reason any of the dudes in the FO still have their jobs.

But I'm not a fan of Aaron Rodgers. I'm a fan of the Packers. I would rather go with a subservient Jordan Love than a diva causing problems, wanting respect, contract extensions, and to be given preferential treatment. Because at the end of the day, nothing gets me more excited than hearing about the shops and ice skating rink that Mark Murphy has lined up for the Titletown USA real estate development. A whiny petulant QB gets in the way of my enjoyment of the Packers and their exploration of alternative sources of revenue.

It's time to remove this cancer from the organization so the Packers and Mark Murphy can focus on the things that make me a fan - positive cash flows, hardcore player negotiations, financial planning, and complementary revenue sources.

Jordan Love is better positioned to meet my needs of being a Packers fan come to life. It's time!

Curious: When's the last time Henry got laid ?
I think you might be overdue to bury your bone someplace warm and safe

This is Ryann Murphy;  so hypothetically you could give Murphy a good spanking and  relieve some of that tissue tension at the same time. Everybody wins.
