I think that MUSIC CITY is pushing it.  I agree with BVAN.

PACKADDICT - no, my friend is not Kworst.  K on his worst day would not have been at my desk in 2010 after the 3rd game of the year in which the Packers got 18 penalties and say "The Packers will never win a game with Mike McCarthy as head coach" - like this friend did.  On 2nd thought maybe he would have ..........

I loved growing up on a farm, loved everything about it.  Baling hay, working the field, even picking up stones.

I HATED milking cows.  Every fiber of my body hated milking cows.  That **** covered tail to the face would remind you every time what a horrible job it was.

I'd still never cut a cows tail off though. That is an asshole move.

No pun intended.  Agreed about the tails.

And **** you robotic milkers!  People gauge their lives on awake/sleep cycles.  Dairy farmers gauge it on awake/milking/nap cycles.

Small comfort knowing if robotic technology was around my pops would've been all over . . . and still call a calculator a computer.

When asked what stands out about Alexander, Belichick said Tuesday on a conference call: "Everything."

"He’s going to have a great career in this league; we thought that in the draft," Belichick said. "I thought that was an excellent pick. It was a little bit ahead of where we were picking [at No. 31] and he was certainly one of the top players on the board. He’s a great kid. He’s got great energy. He loves football and has great football skills -- fast, athletic, good hands, good ball skills, can tackle, can play inside in the slot, can play outside on the perimeter, good zone vision, breaks on the ball, good man-to-man coverage, has good quickness, can match up with fast receivers, can match up with quick receivers. The guy’s a really good football player, and I think he’s got a great future in this league. I think he’ll be one of the top corners in the game for a quite a while here."

As awesome as Alexander was in that game, I did notice he was holding Cooks on at least 2 or 3 plays that I saw.  Hey, if they don't call it, then it ain't cheating... but that said, with a different ref crew maybe they call it on him.  If nothing else, he did it in a way that it wasn't extremely obvious in real time speed, but you could see the holds when it was a slower motion replay.

Everybody scouts the refs. GB I am sure knew that crew allows players to play. They will have the next crew scouted as well.

I was worried he would be another T-Buck.   So far he looks like he has more Craig Newsome in him.    Seriously, super impressed that a guy with his stats is also so physical and willing to put his nose in there.

Looking like we hit the jackpot with this pick.

It isn't just the player either....it's how Gutey acquired him by trading down then back up & getting another 1st rounder. Late in the round or not. That's a big move.

I just want to reiterate what GlutemusMaximus did here.

He traded down then back UP to draft Jaire plus get another 1st rounder in 2019.

I really can't stress enough how much value he got out of that selection. That is outstanding work for ANY GM.

Everyone sitting around me at the draft was stunned like "Holy Shit! How did he do that?!?!?"

It's impressive & I hope he can continue to build on it.
