Never mind the fact the team is 2-4-1 vs some pretty poor teams since AR went down.

The Lions have gone 1-4 since Rodgers went down, his injury must be screwing up other franchises too 'cause they still have all their players

The Saints were 6-1 when Rodgers went down, now they've lost 3 out of 6

The 49ers dropped back- to- back games after Rodgers went down

The Colts were 6-2 until Aaron got injured, then they lost 3 of 6 games

Bucs were 0-8, then Rodgers got hurt and they ripped off 4 wins !

In 2010, the Packers went 1-3 against some poor teams with Rodgers at QB

Then he got concussed and they went on to win the Super Bowl

NFL sure is an amazing league; when one injury can affect so many teams

wow!  really?  I try not to be intolerant of others "beliefs"...but I question where some of you get your information....hopefully not from the Alphabet Networks....I try to watch shows that at least shows both points of view and are truly the watchdog for our nation...

I'm guessing some of you watch ESPN, too....really?

Bowling ball, sharp as.

James Evans, Black Jesus and I all agree on the following:

1. If it's going to be a blizzard, throwing the ball will be almost impossible anyway.

2. Lacy is going to be playing with his ass on fire.

3. The team may finally be gaining a little confidence now that they know they can win without AR, and in come-back fashion.

there...now that should end it!

Agreed, that will end it.  You can repost the rest to him via PM.

I get the snow part. Might not be a lot of passing. Still, I'd like to get Rodgers back behind center before the next must win game against the Bears. Heresy, I know, but I think Trestman is a great offensive coach even if he's given the car keys to Cutler. And that will be a battle at Soldier Field. Almost certain to be flexed to the night game if both our teams win this weekend.

If they're doing this (looking about 99% that Rodgers doesn't play this Sunday) to ensure that he's 100% for a full week of practice with the #1 offense before going to Chicago, then it makes perfect sense. They should be able to handle the Steelers at Lambeau with Flynn, If Flynn plays at least average football and the defense doesn't allow Roethlisberger to throw for 1,000 yards (or worse yet, allow Pittsburgh's terrible rushing attack gash them), I expect a win.

@MikeVandermause

MM: Rodgers understands where we are. He obviously wants to play. He's played with injuries.

@MikeVandermause

MM: We'll focus on Pittsburgh. go thru medical part next week with Rodgers again.

@MikeVandermause

MM: We feel we can beat Pittsburgh with Matt Flynn at QB.

@MikeVandermause

MM: I think Aaron clearly wants to play, he's very competitive man, done everything he can, but he understands how organization feels.

@MikeVandermause

MM: Bostick will have surgery, will be season ending.

@MikeVandermause

MM: I'm not talking about next week (regarding possibility of Rodgers coming back next week), focusing on winning game on Sunday.

MM not a happy camper today.

Now Jolly and Bostick both to IR.  I guess the injury bug wasn't fully satisfied with his work so he came back one last time for the final curb stomp. F***er.

Only thing is...if this team still managed to win the division and get into the playoffs considering all that has happened, it will be bigger than regular season 2010.

Jolly is the only opening day starter on the defense who is now missing.

AR, Cobb and Finley are big losses from the offense. I think Bacteria has filled in just fine for Bulaga.

The Packers are probably in the top half of the NFL as far as team health right now.

Especially if you consider AR healthy enough to play.

The idea of a "starter" is pretty nebulous with all the sub packages employed by NFL defenses, particularly Dan Compers.

Matthews is still recovering, Brad Jones is on the mend and Casey Hayward has been out all season. Jerel Worthy, Robert Francois and Sean Richardson have also been out most of the  season. "Starter" or no, those losses impact the DL, LB and DB crews

Zip me a link to the story about the Packers being in the top half of the league as far as health goes, I'm a voracious reader and always interested in learning more about the Pack
