Nepotism at its finest.  Funny how everyone wanted a WR here when these are the only guys he really wants to play with.  I can't wait for him to ignore a wide open Garret Wilson and instead throw it to Lazard on 3rd down only to drop it.

He's more likely to hold the ball for another 5 seconds to wait for 13-year veteran Randall Cobb to shake free from the safety or linebacker that is matched up against him.

I would bet that as soon as Lazard and Cobb are signed with the Jets, the trade will be announced (likely on Pat McAfee's show).

Wouldn’t Rodgers recruiting players be considered tampering since he hasn’t yet signed with NY?  Or, since Lazard and Cobb are free agents would it not be considered tampering?

It only benefits us, as we'll probably get comp picks in 2024 if they sign.

Sounds about right to me.

You have to think Elijah Moore, Conklin, and Corey Davis aren't thrilled at the idea of Lazard, Cobb and more than likely Marcades Lewis joining this team.

Not only crowds the room with too many WR's and TE's, Rodgers BFF's are going to take playing time and stats from them. Which yes, affects their contracts and their $$$

They just let one walk (Jeff Smith).  So it seems like they're making room for Rodgers' buddies.  I wouldn't be surprised if Big Dog and/or Tonyan sign as well.

Who's the kicker for the Jets? His job might be in jeopardy.

I do find the new marriage of the Johnson and Johnson guy and the anti vaxxer interesting. Should be a fun ride.

Zeurlien, and they just re-signed him.

AR, no matter who you try and bring with you to the jets....retirement is still the
best option. Lazard can not beef up enough to protect you in the pocket.
Retire a packer, and become a x4 moderator.

Elijah Moore got MLF's brother fired from the Jets.
So I'm thinking he still has hand in the J-E-T-S organization.

As far as " picking your buddies" that's pretty much how every player ever has handled it  - from pick- up games in the park all the way through the pro's

Same with NFL coaches- they always choose their buddies because they trust them and will go into battle knowing they can count on them when the sheet hits the fan.

I was mostly kidding. Mason is a family guy. I'd think he either remains a Packer or retires. But I'd be surprised if they didn't add Bobby T or Big Dog to the package.

Well, speaking of Big Dog...

He was traded to PackerChatters for half a ham sammich and a promise not to darken our door again. Seems like we got good value on that deal

Not really a surprise.

It looks like the Jets haven't learned anything from the Packers FO mistakes.

It is somewhat refreshing to think about. Outside of Bakh, who is actually still a legit LT, we're basically going to move on from all of AR and all his cronies.  Really feels like we'll have a totally new identity next year.

"A guy like Marcedes Lewis, he's an important cog in the wheel of the locker room and the momentum of the team," Rodgers said during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" in January. "That's a guy I want to finish my career with. If I'm playing, I want that guy next to me.

"I want the Randall Cobbs of the world -- if he wants to keep playing -- in my locker room. Guys you can win it with. Allen Lazard, Bobby Tonyan, David Bakhtiari.

So if the above named guys are guys you can win with, why didn't Rodgers win with them?  I guess it is all on him.
