"A guy like Marcedes Lewis, he's an important cog in the wheel of the locker room and the momentum of the team," Rodgers said during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" in January. "That's a guy I want to finish my career with. If I'm playing, I want that guy next to me.

"I want the Randall Cobbs of the world -- if he wants to keep playing -- in my locker room. Guys you can win it with. Allen Lazard, Bobby Tonyan, David Bakhtiari.

So if the above named guys are guys you can win with, why didn't Rodgers win with them?  I guess it is all on him.

And Joe Barry.

Welp. This is what happens when you allow one player to be bigger than the team. It's what the Packers did and the Jets haven't learned anything from that.

2 years ago idiots in the national press were hammering the FO for not doing this. Good luck, Jets.

The NFL has not determined who will be featured on Hard Knocks this summer. There are only 4 teams eligible, and one of them is the Jets.

The ratings would be through the roof. Ayahuasca, darkness retreats, chemtrails from Jets, god knows who else Rodgers might meet with while he's living in NYC full-time.

With the 2022 regular season over, there will be just four eligible teams for the next in-depth look at how an NFL squad takes its final steps before a new campaign. To qualify for the next edition of Hard Knocks, an NFL team must not have made the postseason for two straight seasons. They must have a coach who is in his second year on the job, at least. And they haven’t participated in the program in a decade.

The only teams who meet those qualifications in 2023 are as follows:

  • Chicago Bears
  • New Orleans Saints
  • Washington Commanders
  • New York Jets

What developments would they hinder? One of the theories was that Moore and Mims really needed some vets around because Corey Davis isn’t much of a veteran presence in the receiver room.

β€˜And after the top four, their receivers are chum.

This is why I'm a little concerned about the rumors that Moore could be part of the trade deal to us.  Dude already demaded to be traded because of lack of targets and had to be sit because of it.  Couple of those Jets players need a bit of an attitude adjustment.

Hearing Rodgers' ask Zach what he thinks about 9/11 while in NYC would be must-see television.

So, most teams have 5 or 6 ace receivers ?

Not at all, just the scuttlebutt was that Moore and Mims could really benefit from some solid veterans in the receiver room because Davis isn't that guy, so replacing a couple of UDFAs with some good locker room guys that may actually help the talented young guys they invested early picks in might not be the craziest idea.

I'd be far more invested in developing those guys than worrying about Jeff Smith's roster spot.

Not bad for an undrafted, practice squad waiver claim.

From the Packers perspective: The more the Jets pay him, the higher the comp pick the Pack gets for next years draft.

Well done young man.

Yup, and if the Jets sign Cobb and Big Dog, two guys who may never get a sniff on any other team without Rodgers on it, just means more potential comp picks for us.

AR's nepotism doing us favors.

Just once I want to hear you say this about Rodgers, β€œHmmm, I know it’s a remote chance because he throws the ball so well, but I think he might be ever so slightly wrong there”.

I would watch and I haven’t watched Hard Knocks in over 15 years.
