From that point on, he was between the Jets and retirement - no prospect to resigning in Green Bay. Yesterday is when he decided he wanted to play for the Jets and all that's going on right now is the compensation negotiation.

Best thing about this trade is it's the last offseason we'll have to deal with 12's nonsense and we're in a countdown to be rid of Mark Murphy. 12's doing the Packer front office's PR for them right now. I'm less concerned with trade value and more looking forward to being rid of his antics with each passing hour.
It's like a disfunctional off between him and Murphy. Any person with a regular job or career should be dumbfounded by the lack of basic professional skills by both of them.
