I don't see how Rodgers can commit to 2 years. If he said today he was going to play next season does it mean anything?                                                                      By rights the Jets should be giving up a #1 if they want a QB like Rodgers that can give them a shot. But that contract is so bad the Packers are probably at least as motivated as the Jets to make a trade. Nothing would surprise me as far as compensation goes after seeing the contract explained in depth.

Exactly.  How do two parties come back and work together amicably after a very public near-divorce?  It's like considering a divorce from your wife and encouraging another guy to visit her and take her off your hands.
