I wasn't buying MIN earlier this year but I do now.  They're a pretty good team.  Hard argue against them having good odds to get to the 1 or 2 seed and to the NFCCG.  Right now I think PHI is still better and SF could be too in a head to head.  Yesterday was a bit flukey vs BUF but they did enough to be close enough to pull it out.  “I don't know what was up with Allen going all Brett toward the end.”

It’s because that’s who Allan is!

Sure, he had that rap earlier in his career.  But once things started clicking for him, he hasn't really been that guy for along stretch until the last couple weeks.  It will be interesting if those kinds of plays ultimately keep BUF from a ring.

Buffalo is a good team but they have too much dum dum in them. It will bite them in the ass. They should have kicked the FG instead Allen throws the int. on that goal line play, They should have went shotgun. Allen could have run around and burned clock and step out of bounds. If the snap was bad boot the ball OOB or let the snap go right out of the EZ

The Bills are a good team, but their injuries have caught up to the team.
They were able to cover them up for awhile, but mostly against weaker teams.
They had a couple of quality victories (vs Titans and Chefs), but have lost to the Jets and Vikings in consecutive weeks.

The Vikes are pretty good, maybe not Super Bowl good but they have a solid team.

Solid as a turd! The vikings have a pretty soft schedule. They beat us, but had to make our game their 1st game of the season, in order to do it, knowing the Packers are rarely ready to play to 100% of their capabilities, early in the season. As stated earlier, they played Buffalo when Josh Allen had a bum elbow and basically gave them the victory, on that goal line turnover.  Viking fans are crowing, not about the Super Bowl, but about how the Packers are floundering. They are obsessed with Green Bay losing, more than they are hopeful of their team's chances in the playoffs--if they get there. Since GB is floundering, a bit, I was wondering, how many decades has it been since the Packers had a higher first round draft pick that the vikings did? I mean just based on the way the draft order fell, per the teams' season records and not so much because one team traded picks to move up in the draft. How long has it been? It seems like forever and all those vikings teams that had those high picks, did nothing with them. That trophy case of theirs is still empty and will likely remain empty, when all things are said and done.

I think this is one of the weakest crop of top teams I can ever remember.  The Vikings at least have a slight chance of winning it all because there are no dominant teams.

I still think somehow, someway they fall short, but they are one of the 9 or 10 teams out there in the mix for a World Championship.

I certainly don’t think the Vikes are the favorite, but they have an excellent group of receivers and RBs.  Their offensive line and defense both look solid enough to complement that great set of skill guys they have.  Cousins has played well.

Do I expect them to fall short of a Super Bowl title?  Of course I do.  😀

But certainly this is the best chance they’ve had since Favre was there leading them to a historical choke job.

If Cook doesn't have a big came against Buffalo all they had was jump balls to Jefferson. The one pass near the end of the game Kark was turning away as he threw it and tossed up a wounded duck. If the DB doesn't have a brain fart that's an incomplete pass and the bills win that game.

Honestly, the team I’ve come away most impressed with is Tennessee.  They play stout defense, RTFB, and Vrabel is really underrated as a head coach.  If Tannehill can go Eli Manning in the postseason they have a real shot to win it all.

As for Minnesota, they’ve built that gaudy record based on luck and close wins.  Just about every team they’ve played had a banged up or backup QB and they’ve been about as healthy as anyone.   And does anyone really trust Kark in the playoffs?  Hell no.

I know plenty of real Viking fans that know a swift kick in the balls is lurking right around the corner because coming up short is like, what they do.  And it’s not just the Super Bowl losses.  1998, 41-0 to the Giants, 2009 w/Favre, the ass kicking in Philly, I could go on and on.   They know their place in playoff history and it’s not a good place to be.  So any MN rube crowing about their record or their chances is either an idiot or just became a fan this year.

You write that as if the Vikings get to make their own schedule.

Would it surprise you if they did? The League went out of their way to get the vikings a championship. Back when they lost to the Eagles 38-7, in the NFC Championship game, the Super Bowl, that season, was going to be played in Minneapolis at US Bank Stadium. The queens needed to beat Phillie to get their dream scenario of a home field Super Bowl. I put nothing past the League, least of all, getting the NFL scheduler to have them play GB in their first game of the season, where GB was known to be a slow starting team. The vikings have been given every advantage, IMO, and all they got out of it was a drubbing by the Eagles and a domed(roofed) stadium that kills birds by the thousands.

Are you Sidney Powell?

Not having the bye after London may have affected the next game, but not the 3 after. It's a bullshit excuse.

This team is fucking bad...from depth to coaching to execution. This season more than any demonstrates how much 12 propped this team up the last 2 years.

Murphy is a bigger pussy than MLF...he's on cruise control...big changes not coming, certainly not with Gurt. Best we can hope for is they axe Dingle Barry and perhaps get a little more aggressive in FA.

Changes in the Packers org are glacial in speed.

Queens are very, very fortunate to be 8-1.

They are being exposed today, but have a very easy schedule the rest of the season.

They would lose to Dallas or SF even at home in the playoffs.

They will lose to Philly on the road in the playoffs.

Looks like yet another season without an NFC North team in the Super Bowl.

The league tried to take that 60 yd FG off the board by "reviewing" the catch just before first half ended. Kicker Maher still made the 60 yd FG a second time. That was an ultimate to the NFL

I love it. The last thing they want is a blowout in any game 😆

and his second try was soooooooo much better then the first one was.

Vikings worst home loss since 1963 and second worst loss in team history.

Worst loss since a 45-7 beatdown by the Pack in 2011.

Just a great evening in the land of 10,000 puddles.

Skol and go Patriots on Thanksgiving.

MIN totally had me fooled vs BUF.  Then again, if GB can beat DAL and then return to their mediocre ways, MIN can lose to DAL and return to their winning ways.  Any given sunday.  What looked like an easy remaining schedule for them now looks a little more challenging.  Their easiest games left are vs DET and GB, which we know won't be.  It will be interesting to see what DET does the rest of the year.

The Vikings record is smoke and mirrors.  Usually when teams win that many close games and encounter as much good fortune as they have it tends to even out over time.

Still, they should win the division and make the playoffs but clearly they aren’t a shoe in for anything at this point.

Welp, here's the post that should seal up this Vikings Suck 2.0 topic and we can move on to 3.0.

I present to you the troll of all Jumbotron trolls. Yes, they put a porn star on their board to "salute" him.

Jim Nance mentioned, during the viking-cowboys broadcast, that Minnesota has beaten only one team with a record over .500, this season. Let their fair weather, bandwagon fans suck on that. I love the fact that some CBS affiliates switched to a more competitive game as the vikings floundered their way to a loss.

I live South of Atlanta and they switched over to  the the Steelers game ( a shockingly large Steelers base here) and I was VERY disappointed that I could not see the end to the vikings huge loss.

Vikings now have a Negative Point Differential on the season at -2. The Previous record for an 8-2 team was the Chargers at +6.

Also worth noting that 1987 Chargers team lost their last 6 games that season.
