They need a WR or ILB in first two rounds. Chase Claypool would be a great target for AR.
I like Fromm in R2... I think ILB and WR need to be taken earlier in the draft.
I think they could go after Schobert as their "big"(ish) free agent if they were looking at something like this. If the talent is markedly better, take the guy early, regardless of position.
If they win the super bowl, take Tua if he is available. Spend 3 years behind aaron, get healthy then take over.
Dylan Moses. Thatβs all I have to say about RD 1.

Like Adam Vinatieri?
Or Mason Crosby.
Yah, everybody talks about how lucky the Packers have been to Favre and Rodgers back to back. But when you look at kickers we have been over blessed with Jacke, Longwell and Crosby back to back to back. Except for the 1 year with Dave Rayner in 2006. Those 3 combined have over 460 games played.
Very true. But why no love for Max Zendejas?!?
Lots of teams have one solid Kicker after another. Not really that surprising, but, yes, a blessing.

Alabama LB Dylan Moses, who missed this season with a knee injury, is returning to school. The athletic βbacker with a well-rounded skill set profiles as a potential Top 15 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

I like Kenneth Murray of Oklahoma and he may be available in the first round.

I, too, like Murray, but doubt he'll be available at the end of round 1.

Tell Bears fans that one. Robbie Gould is still nailing it on a playoff team.
It's early but I doubt Murray will be there when GB picks.

And tell Viking fans this. One team that has nailed it in regards to kickers is Detroit. Since 1980:
Eddie Murray
Jason Hanson
Matt Prater

Laviska Shenault would be a fine addition in R1. Need a Slot receiver to complement the group of outside guys we have.
He have a green card?

In my extensive research (i.e., I looked at 1 mock), he was gone by 20 or so.

I'm leaning yes.
No...you drop down and load up...another QB will be available later...it's still too early to draft Aaron's replacement. If you're worried, find a journeyman vet to fill in...and Boyle should continue to improve...don't sell him short, either.
If we get an offer for our pick, I would say trade down, especially if it's at the top of round 2.
Kumerow and Vitale for the #2 pick and convert Young into Perry 3.0.

Many mocks have him available at our pick in the first round.

I would be quite pleased with that result, but I feel a move up would still be necessary...we'll see.
Draft is deep with WR and OT. So Murray at the end of rd 1 would be fantastic if Dylan Moses has decided to stick for another year. . For the first time in years GB can actually take the best player available at whatever position. Love the direction of this team.
Unless it was a new Years Eve joke, Moses is going back to ALA.

I can't find any rankings on Ruiz, as if no one expected him to declare...what's your take on him?

From Draftblaster Scouting reports: A truly versatile interior lineman that can play either guard position and center. Has the longer arm length, height and frame that NFL teams are now looking for at center, especially as more and more shotgun is used. Most teams are looking for centers that donβt always need help to double team an elite defensive tackle, and that can be used as a driving force in the run game. A smart player that can move seamlessly to either guard spot, will get an early look in the draft.
I don't really care who or what position we draft as long as he turns into a HOF player that plays his entire career in GB.
for a reasonable contract
also prefer loveable bumpkin over Ken Jennings type
if he can shotgun beers preferred, but not a deal breaker

Well...add 'game changing interception' to this, along with his league leading tackles...or close...I like his play and will miss him when he is gone...I guess he is no Oren Burks......Thank goodness Gutey has a good eye for free agents...cuz I believe he is about 3 for 15 in the draft so far
I read today that Tua T. has declared for the draft. That may push some talent down towards the Packers first round pick.
Including Tua himself
I love me some Tua.
I am on board for some Tua-Luraa

Viska is a bad dude...not blazing fast, but big and physical and will catch everything. I have a feeling he's going to creep up draft boards and perhaps out of the Packers reach. We need playmakers on offense for sure.

Linsley has been a swinging gate at times this season...not sure if it's his back or if the new scheme isn't suited to his skill set. He got absolutely trucked by the Whiners DL. That Lucas Patrick is our better option speaks volumes.

I like Jake Hanson from Oregon in the middle rounds. He's mobile as well.
Most mock drafts I see have Tua going to the Dolphins at #5
If you knew he could stay healthy thatβs an easy selection but I see Andrew Luck part II
