That's the original interview. The still I posted was from that interview, but the CC/text was about his Fantasy Football league and how his wife (woman in wheelchair) didn't understand how important it all was.

Somewhere along the way I lost the link to that interview.

Found on the internet: from Reddit:

Probably not the right place but Gute doesn't get enough credit.

He bet on Z and Preston and that went really well for us.

I had honestly never heard of Jaire when we drafted him. Douglas was on another team's practice squad.

If Love turns out to be as good as he's looked this pre-season, that man is bulletproof.

ffs.. Wooden, Brooks, Valentine and Wix were all drafted on day 3 and the way it looks, we have 2 SOLID rotational pieces that could create a deadly pass rush and do a lot to fix our run D. Valentine, our 7th round pick, isn't just going to make the roster, he would be a starter on a lot of teams. Zach Tom looks like a starting T in the league and most teams can't find starting OL play in the early rounds. Enegbare looks like a top tier pass rusher and we got him in the 5th!!

What more can we ask of this guy? Before he showed up, we had no CBs, and our pass rush sucked. He inherited a declining super star diva QB and a bottom 1/2 defense. We are going to have one of the best DLs, EDGE and CB units in the league this year, not even mentioning LBs. Campbell, which is another FA pickup Gute nailed, and Quay who objective outsiders like Michael Lombardi are extremely high on. We could have the best D in football this year and no one would be shocked.

IMO, Gute should be revered and universally respected and he takes shit from his own fan base in a lot of cases. This dude is GOAT level GMing and I don't know if we are all just so desperate for hot takes we ignore it, or if we actually can't see it.

Gute is a top 5 GM in this league right now.

You can give me all the thumbs down you want but if you don't give an author credit you are putting the owners in jeopardy.  This has been stated on here many times. Just provide a damn link to whatever shit you are reading.

It's very early, but everything suggests that after a series of rather lackluster drafts that Gutey has got his groove back.

He had some poor drafts, but his biggest issue was the fact that he (and towards the end of the TT drafts when Gutey was probably making more of the decisions than we knew) drafted TEs and slot receivers with premium draft picks that ended up ranging from being below average to unplayable.

J'mon Moore - 4th round, 2018. Jace Sternberger - 3rd round, 2019. Amari Rodgers - 3rd round, 2021. Maybe DeGuara - 3rd round, 2020.

If Musgrave, Kraft, and Reed end up being decent, just having those threats in the middle of the field is going to make a huge difference.

J’Mon Moore was definitely an interesting pick.  He seemed to have a decent knack for getting open.  His hands though….they might have been the worst hands I’ve ever seen from a Packers’ WR.

I think the Pack just assumed with some hard work and experience he’d catch it better.  They were wrong though and he quickly washed out of the league.
