RW , these would be some excellent questions to submit to Murphy for his Take Five segments.

I have not heard of any engagements. Besides nobody actually gets married anymore. And I did read that Z said that the only jewelry he wants is a SB ring.

I believe the amount of communication between coaches and players during the offseason is limited by the CBA.

I don't think we'll ever see a "thin" Eddie. It's simply not is body type. The challenge for him is whether he can keep his weight down as the season progresses. Because apparently he kept gaining weight in 2015 as the season wore on. That and hanging onto the football. He has plenty to play for including a phat new contract if he can prove he can stay focused and in shape. We'll see. One thing I noticed is MM has been relatively quiet on how Lacy's camp has been going. Usually, he's more...

Love the kid, but he just does not seem capable of controlling his eating. Short of having someone with him 24 / 7 to stop him from overeating, there does not seem much the Packers can do because even at 20 pounds overweight, he still has much better feet than Starks.

Keep in mind he also wears a thick flack jacket. We thought he looked pretty hefty at TC, but he got close to the stands and you could see the rib protector he wears is bulky. We also saw him without pads at TC and he doesn't have a belly.

I feel like Chip Kelly desperately wants Kaep to win the starting job. I'm curious if Dom is ready to help that cause once again.

I doubt it. Though I am sure he still gets cards on holidays from Kaeperdink.

I'd guess mid-low tbh. Unless they are counting sports bar patrons where it happens to be on in a corner.

Watching Tampa and the Brownies. I'm never going to be a fan because of the FSU shenanigans but Jameis Winston is one of those guys who just knows how to play quarterback. A rare bird especially amongst those kids coming out of college in recent years.

Both Guion & Clark inactive tonight. D-line will be stressed if these two are not healthy by opener.

I just saw the inactive list, and was disappointed to see Thomas, Ripkowski, and Burnett listed, in addition to Clark and Guion. Not sure why Rip and Thomas are unless I missed an injury update. Concur we need some luck with health, especially to our starters. Edited to add we are thin at C also. I would expect Barclay will have extended time there in the 2nd half.

I was thinking they were going to be stressed regardless. Tonight's going to be huge for some of those backups. And I don't remember hearing Guion was hurt, so who knows, maybe they are keeping him out so they can see just what they have...

I'm trying to keep in mind it is Cleveland they are playing, but the Bucs look like they are better prepared to challenge Carolina rather than Atlanta. We need some competition in that Division, instead of the Panthers being able to cruise to HFA.

Thomas is fighting for a spot. I don't think he's elligible for PS anymore either. Bummer for him, he was playing well. I suppose he will get some time next week, but we're at what, 87? Have to be at 75 on Tuesday I believe. Time is running short for bubble guys.

Silverstein just was asked a Q on JSO blog about roster depth: It's very deep. It's so deep that Seattle GM John Schneider is here in person to scout the players Green Bay might cut. by Tom Silverstein 9:57 PM
