Oh my. When motivated that young man is a very good player. Twitter suggests he may just be a one year rental looking for a huge payday, I don't know the details myself.

Packers' OL has it work cut out for itself next week.

Doesnt exactly resolve Seattles OL problems. It looks like Seattle is going with what worked best a few years back. Hold teams to 12 points per game and Kick 5 field goals. That's looking like a pretty stout D if Earl Thomas is fully recovered.

I despise Seattle more than every other team in the NFL combined.  That butt kicking at Lambeau last year was one of the more enjoyable regular season NFL games I've seen in quite some time.

I'd love to see the Pack destroy them again, but I suspect the opener will be a bit closer.  They absolutely cannot afford to lose to those clowns at Lambeau.  I don't ever under any circumstance want the Packers ever to participate in a playoff game at that God forsaken CenturyLink Field where crazy unbelievable things happen that never benefit Green Bay.

If Ted is looking for running backs. Steelers just cut Knile Davis.

His 2016 Packer stat line is an all timer. 5 carries for 5 yards. Longest carry was 4 yards.

Ryan Wood commented TT was getting a lot of cuts done early.  I'm wondering if its just the sheer number of cutdowns or maybe he's looking to maneuver faster in the growing scrap heap.  Oline please.

I have a box of Chardonnay on Ice packs. Waiting for news about Janis' release. This is finally the day. It's here. All that's left is popping the cork. Or opening the spicket. Whatever.

Once you're old and it the wall, it's tough to compete with the Younghoe:

Chargers waived K Josh Lambo.

Lambo was serviceable in two years as the Bolts' kicker, converting 81.2 percent of his field goals, but missed eight extra points. He was also 0-for-3 on 50-plus yard attempts in 2017. The Chargers are going with Younghoe Koo.

I was surprised at the number of trades this year. Nothing really blockbuster, but just the sheer number of them. Ditto the trades for 2019  picks.
Trading players sure ain't what it used to be.

It's entirely plausible that Alex Boone is really a shape shifting bird. He did say the Packers would have to step over his dead body to win a Super Bowl in Minny.

Report: Free agent cornerback Sam Shields suspended for first two games of season

Cornerback Sam Shields has remained a free agent since being released by the Green Bay Packers in February.

The former Pro Bowl defensive back appeared in just one game for Green Bay last season as lingering symptoms from concussions made him unable to play. While Shields continues to have a desire to return to football, there is a little incentive to sign him in the next few weeks.

According to Field Yates of ESPN.com, Shields has been suspended for the first two games of the season. While the report didn’t specify the policy violation that led to the suspension, Shields was charged with two counts of marijuana possession in January. Shields will effectively serve the suspension by not being employed for the first two weeks of the season.

Shields was named to the Pro Bowl in 2014 and has 18 career interceptions in seven seasons and 70 career games with the Packers.
