Pretty positive story on Matthews
https://www.jsonline.com/story...ews-visit/451258002/
Appears to be a prime candidate for a one year show-me contract.
DRC, Breeland, House and a few others still available as free agent CB.
One more Gute !!
Former #Packers CB Tramon Williams is back in Green Bay on a 2-year deal worth roughly $10M, source said. He passed his physical and agreed to terms. ... as @89JonesNTAF predicted.

Wonder how long he's had that jacket stashed away...
Tramon and Driver=2 of the best smiles. So good to see him back.

Do you know if Soy was a staple of yours as a kid?
I'm confident that BPS would be the classic definition of "all on, none in".

The singular football may be more accurate considering he has half an ankle.
Really hope we sign Jordan Matthews
Fandame posted:Gute shows that he's not going to stand pat with what we've had for years. Signing Matthews shows Geronimo, Davis, Clark, Yancey, et al, that coaches/GM are not satisfied with WRs and are willing to shake things up. They've been put on notice as has the entire D.
I really hope this is true.
I (and others) have kvetched about accountability for both players and coaches, and I think Gute started this year with a sharp pencil.
I have thought there is a logjam at certain positions that need to be cleared, and WR, as you mentioned, is a good example. No matter how 'intriguing' their potential is, if they can't develop and challenge the starters, let's get somebody who can. And it's time for the annual Janis! debate, but let's save that for another thread.
OL is another one. They majority of depth seems to be skewed towards G, and then are forced to play out of position when injuries happen at T. The fact that the guy we drafted to play T is close to busting isn't helping, but the point is there are plenty of OL on the roster, but are they the right ones?
In spite of their current state, the mess in the DB needs to get cleaned up. Too many players with too little experience, and the ones with experience are House and Heyward. Surely we can do better.

He'll use it wisely.
Who wants to be the one to tell Timmy that Heyward is no longer in the house?

I think they get more attention than they can handle.
Well I will delete every post from the two interlopers... the only bad thing is I have to unblock them to do so. Wish I could just delete without the risk of reading.

Not word you typically hear from MIN fans.

Perhaps a case of fingers going faster than brain?
Or shall I just go with brain not working, period?
But thank you for not stopping me while I was on a roll!

Rumors are the Cowboys are getting ready to move on from Dez Bryant. He would be a good alternate to Davante if they could put a muzzle on him. On that note, that could be why Gute is moving slow on adding a WR because some other guys are going to be coming free in the next few weeks.
Dez Bryant's talent, sure....
All the other circus crap? No thanks.
Yeah Cowboys are signing Allen Hurns
Bring in Dez and have him room with Daniels!
Dez can be pretty much uncoverable when heâs focused. Heâs just his own worse enemy. Goes to the sideline screaming at everyone heâs not being involved. Goes back on the field and drops an easy pass to kill a drive. Quietly walks back to the sideline and finds a seat on the bench. No idea how many times that scenario has played out during his career.
No denying his talent though.
Receivers do have a penchant for narcissism. Not all of them, of course.
Free agent cornerback Delvin Breaux said he has visits planned with the Packers and 49ers after previously visiting Broncos and Patriots. Breaux spoke at Tyrann Mathieuâs charity kickball event... https://t.co/iPUXVTJ9Aq

Breaux is interesting. Played very well in 2015, but has been beset by leg injuries the past two seasons. Wonât cost much, and if healthy, would be a nice addition. https://t.co/FOnT3nes4i
