Not sure yet.
In fact, looking at your free agents, probably none.
What the hell is a Quinton Dial?
We'll probably wait til Rodgers decides he wants to work in a state with modern infrastructure....indoor plumbing and stuff.

You do know the Vikings invented the poop deck so they wouldn't have to go in a "brown paper sack" and throw it overboard - right? But when those boats sink, the fish on the bottom of the ocean don't go anywhere near it. Scientists everywhere are still trying to figure it out. Has a certain metaphorical resemblance to a team further west.
Can't this stuff be 'discussed' in that 116 page thread down the list?
jayblo and sack of dog **** spread their suck into other threads. go ask them.

They could probably go after Datone Jones again.

Cowboys signed him to a long term deal
Yoo Hoo - the Cowboys with DJ is as good as out of the playoffs. Couldn't have happened to a worse owner.
Packer fans trying to clown on other teams for taking a flyer on a player they selected 26th overall in the draft......thatβs pretty rich.
Christian Ponder thinks you should, just not talk anymore.

Youβd have a point if I was clowning on 49er fans because their team picked up Ponder.
Iβm sorry that you canβt see the idiocy in calling out another fan base for picking up your teamβs first round bust.
I'm sorry you can't see the idiocy in calling out another fan base just because your own team happened to luck into/fall into/have a good year.
I hope this website gets cleaned up by training camp.
I often argue that the political position around "term limits" is stupid and a waste of time. We have term limits, just a population that isn't invested enough to consider their vote to make a term limit happen.
We don't have a troll problem, we have a feeding the troll problem.
So if we just post this instead of responding the trolls will die due to starvation and go away?
Do NOT feed the TROLLS!
or post nothing.
Same advice I give fedya and victimboy

I said over a month ago that the admins should be deleting accounts and posts, yet here we are.
The only thing more stupid than obvious trolling on the internet is responding to it.
Might need the the extra strength spray.
If I was a Packer "owner", I would instruct my GM to make an offer to Trey Burton.

That guy likes Eifert?
Might as well just sign him and put him on IR.
Iβm pretty sure Eifert is coming off two consecutive years of back surgeries.
Trey Burton is a FA signing you make because you are totally Hell bent in signing a free agent.
Probably best to pass on both those options.

That's fine too. I really hope the Packers just roll with Jimi Kendricks and whatever else is behind him at TE.
Has he served his suspension for dealing illegal mood altering contraband yet?

I'll be curious what the Packers decide to do a quarterback behind AR. Do you draft a guy early and 3/4th round and hope he can become the heir apparent? Find a previous starter who hopes to get a shot given Rogers injury history? Callahan? I can't see Hundley coming back without some serious competition

And I think Eifert also has had shoulder and knee issues as well. Not sure he has even played much more than half a season in any given year. This guy is about as durable as Glass Joe in the old Mike Tyson Punchout game so take a hard pass on him.

Once again this clearest thinking poster has identified the primary off season issue. Most people have no desire to watch Hundley in the event of AR taking time off again. Not having a functional backup QB did more to prevent us from a Super Bowl than any other roster decision. MM is loyal to a fault. Hundley is being supported by AR. Bringing in a previous starter negates the quarterback school theory. This is where a new GM meets his first fork in the road.
Thank you Doc

D. Capers agrees.
I'll reiterate, I never want to watch Hundley play for the Pack again. I warned my wife about him when we went to the Dec 23 game and by the end of the 1st half she had him summed up on her own matching my feelings: boring. Granted, inability to do the job is what makes it boring.
I always thought Hundley was meh when seeing him on TV but when I saw him in person in the last game in Detroit I realized he was just terrible. As you said Tdog he looked like he totally had zero ability to make anything happen. I am sure he is a great guy and a great teammate but the Packers can't go in to another season with him as the only backup.
I honestly believe that Joe C. would have improved from week to week. Hundley just never showed anything.
I also believe that Joe C. would not have been the answer, but, I do believe he would have shown weekly improvement.
IMO. The 2017 Packer offense was built and designed around Aaron Rodgers driving it. It relied heavily on his ability to make pre-snap reads, his pocket awareness, and his ability to extend plays to make things happen downfield.
Not trying to give Hundley a pass here. He was truly awful. But I think the results would have looked similar if any QB not named Aaron Rodgers was behind the wheel of last years offense.
The beauty of what happened in Philly isnβt that Nick Foles suddenly became a SB level talent. Itβs that Pederson designed an offense that could still be effective if Wentz was lost.
Its monumentally important for MM and staff to establish an offense that isnβt completely reliant on the ability of Aaron Rodgers. Because there is not a backup QB on the planet thatβs going to step in and run that offense if Aaron is lost.
