Former starter in the league. I can dig it.
Agree, can’t hurt. But we still pay the balance of his 3 mil salary.
Paying 3 mil is better than watching my eyeballs spin following Light...
Thought I would put this in this thread because it doesn't deserve it's own topic: "Freddie Kitchens rules out a healthy Damarious Randall" https://profootballtalk.nbcspo...category/rumor-mill/ Guy was a jerk when playing here, not surprised he has continued his ways elsewhere. Even though the trade of him for Kizer yielded nothing for us, his departure is a case of addition by subtraction.
Would've been great if his sh!tty-ness came out in pre draft interviews/reports.

Just in case everyone forgot.....Preston Smith was drafted 2nd round 6th overall.....not too far after D.R.....Wonder if there was discussion in the Packer war room about taking P.S. at end of round 1.
Think about it ... Gutey was there but not as GM
YATittle posted:Just for fun, who do we take?
I'm looking for speed in any WR we take. So, in this draft, its Jalen Reagor of TCU or Henry Ruggs,III of Bama. Both have 4.4 or faster projected 40 times. But, of the two, I'd pick Ruggs, III as he is a more polished WR than Reagor is. Reagor supposedly cannot run routes, but is blazingly fast. A Janis 2.0, if you will... TCU says he ran a 4.29 40 once.

30. Green Bay Packers: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
With sideline-to-sideline speed, Murray is a three-down linebacker and tackling machine that has put himself into the first-round conversation. In addition, he would fill a position of need for the Packers.
If we are picking an ILB early in the draft, Murray is the guy, IMO.
3-down linebackers with his sideline to sideline speed don't fall too far.
Blake has sideline to sideline speed. Just need to time it with a sun dial.
The QB injuries in Detroit has given our old friend another chance to fail in the NFL.
Quick trade DeShone Kizer for 'ol Joe. Wait we let him go too?
The #Packers claimed former #Jaguars RB Tyler Ervin, source said. An interesting addition.

Possibly trying to add some juice to the return game?
Never heard of him but he thinks he's Darren Sproles. Good for him.
Bye Bye Tremon Smith. I like Gute churning the bottom of the roster. Produce or be gone!
I like that YaYa!
Don't care who he thinks he's like or who he thinks he is as long as he can return like Sproles could in his prime.
Bring on the Bring back Trev chants...

@FieldYates·The Raiders have waived WR Trevor Davis, per source. He was acquired via a trade from the Packers earlier this season.
I'd bring him back in a heartbeat. He would improve every facet of our ST's. Guy is a great gunner and solid return man. He would also bump Kumerow off the depth chart. Win-win.
Bring him back for return game. It's a matter of who MLF will kick in the shin to put on IR. MVS, maybe?

Ha, he sounds smart and articulate, not a punk.
Trevor Davis? No, thanks.
We have guys on the roster now that are perfectly capable of fumbling/botching a return at a critical point in the season (or playoffs!).
Gruden cut Davis? Hahah Guess that fumble he had was "costly"

was watching the red zone this weekend, td had a rough day and that's putting it mildly...

Speaking of IR. Nice to have Big Bob Tonyan back but holy goodness did he have a rough game.....whiffed badly on a block, called for a couple of penalties, one of which resulted in a Touchdown being called back, and a dropped pass....that's tough to do in 20 snaps....welcome back Rob.
What Davis did Sunday:
So we can buy low here.
Panthers fired Ron Rivera.

Excellent DC and won't be out of work long.
Keep an eye on Mike McCarthy for this job. Panthers owner David Tepper has deep ties to McCarthy’s hometown of Pittsburgh.

I did not see that coming today.
The Dolphins have claimed speedy WR Trevor Davis off of waivers from the Raiders, per source.
— Field Yates (@FieldYates) December 3, 2019
Huh, I wonder if we'll find out if the Packers put in a claim.
I hope the Carolina coaching change lights a fire in that team. They can really help us out for the rest of the season.

I think he needs a sabbatical.

What has this speedy WR ever done?
That right there says a lot. Lazard needs more snaps going forward.
