Nope, no argument there. Completely agree. He let his "yes" men he hired linger way too long. Should he get another shot, one of the critical things he needs to do is stay away from his previous regime. All or nearly all of whom are currently unemployed.

I don't think CLE really has a HC honestly. Mayfield seems more like the HC than Kitchens. Again they remind me of the early 2000's Packers. Sugar Bear just couldn't reign in his QB and wasn't a strong presence as a HC.
Don't you mean 1999 and Ray Rhodes?
Trubisky doesn't have the arm talent that Baker has. I see Trubisky as an Alex Smith type. If he has a strong running game & defense, you can win games with him. He'll never be the guy that can put the team on his shoulders & win a playoff game for you.
Although I admit he had a nice drive vs. Philly in January to win a playoff game. Their kicker just screwed it all up.

I think that Campbell has potential to help in many of our lapses in coverage and he can tackle.
Opportunity to get Martinez out of coverage.

Trubisky can’t manage a game, he’s just not efficient at all. He’s smart enough to execute designed timing plays, but when he has to to think, gets his timing interrupted, or has to read coverage he just can’t handle it. Nagy and Trube caught a lot of teams off guard with that scheme...teams were too worried about where all the moving parts were going to think about pressuring him. Now that they know the play will live and die by Trube’s brain, theyre going after him. Their GM doomed him from the start because of where he took him, what he gave up to get him, and who he passed on to take him. Their scouting department absolutely blew it with evaluating him.
DT/DE Cory Liuget, 29 yrs old, a former first round pick and 7-year starter for the Chargers, was released by the Raiders this week, cleared waivers and was signed by the Bills. Known as a run-stopper, he might have been able to help the #Packers.

Did you seriously quote "Jersey Al"?
Another thing a great QB needs is creativity. Rodgers is able to create something out of nothing when a play goes south. Trubisky, and many others with good arms, just can't think beyond where guys should be, and they fall apart when the pattern falls apart. It takes the ability to "think beyond" that separates the very successful from the meh.
Whatever happened to the X4 Al channel?
I think you're confusing the Deep emporium "Al" with Jersey Al.
Al has gotten dark. He apparently got sucked into the fake news machine. His ramblings used to be dumb fun, now they're just arrogant and tragic.
So you're following him.

No one could confuse that worthless pile of skin. I’m talking about Jersey Al, who is mouth breather homer doofus.
Dez getting ready, gonna contact some teams, doesn't need to be the guy.
He should be rested

Yeah, right up to the time he says he wants more balls coming his way. Pass.
I'd kick the tires.
You could kick the tires, but I think they're flat.
Any good GM/scouting dept. better "kick the tires" on any available player. Especially if it's an area of need.
I'd kick him in the nuts.
Henry Ruggs or bust for GB. Kid would be dynamite in this offense, I don't think there's a QB in the league who could overthrow him.
I'm onboard just for the name.

With sideline-to-sideline speed, Murray is a three-down linebacker and tackling machine that has put himself into the first-round conversation. In addition, he would fill a position of need for the Packers.
We can get a decent WR in round 2.
Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings approve.
That mock assumes we lose in the NFCCG.
We had this guy and cut him.
It's because he sucked.

I'd "kick the tires", but I would probably get "tire toe" and be out of my day job for a while. So I will pass - on "kicking tires".
Just for fun, who do we take?
Out of the top 25 there's one guy 5-11 and three at 6-0.
Take anyone that's 6-3 or taller.
