One of the things I learned from titmfatied was trying to always bring in credible opinions from players, coaches, personnel guys etc. on the various topics we discuss. He was quite good at it.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but some are just worth more than others.
If you feel Jordan Love isn't the man and never will be -  that's fine - now go out and find some supporting evidence from a coach, player, personnel guy. Even some in the media know what they're talking about (only a select few)

IF the only  thing you ever bring to X4 is your opinion, that's really not much for us to go on.

The internet/twitter has a bunch of quality NFL content - go out and find some credible football people who agree with your take. It shouldn't be too difficult

Of course, if you can't actually find any credible  support for your opinion -
- you might just be a dumbass.

Well, that's your opinion.

I get both sides of the Love debate 100% . I think the bottom line is we as fans want to start seeing the results on the field in games so we don’t feel we are being bamboozled by the coaches. Sure we’ve seen improvement, but nothing that says that Love can win GB a game.

That’s a fact.

Not a fact. He won the pre-season game at Green Bay this year. Beat Saints.

He has shown some improvement but still seems to struggle with the same issues he had in college: turnovers, poor decisions and inconsistent accuracy. Hopefully he will come around yet.

Heard an interview this week with Gutey discussing Rodgers contract and what it means for Love. He said he views Rodgers contract as year to year but can easily see him playing through the 2024 season. When he was asked if there's a scenario where both Love and Rodgers are on the team in 2024 he said he wouldn't rule it out but that would be extremely difficult to pull off.

I think they are going to pick up that 5th year option next year then trade him if they feel like Rodgers is around in 2024.

Expressing one's opinion is not only acceptable, but encouraged on message boards. But it should read as such as opposed to being stated as fact.
If an opinion happens to be factual, the poster can provide the link.

That's the way I see it.

I don't know, I don't get worked up reading what people post here, everyone's different and it adds to the character of the board - think how boring this forum would be if everyone agreed to the point of group think, or if everyone posted in the same style.  People are going to agree, people are going to disagree.  That's why they're called discussions.  The day the thought gestapo takes over is the day I'll leave.  Fortunately, despite the efforts of a few posters, that hasn't happened here yet.

The headline is ..."showing that he can be what the Packers need from him in 2022"

From the article:

"Jordan Love still makes mistakes that high-end quarterbacks can't make. He still hasn't shown the consistency necessary to be a full-time starter. "

This is where I'm at.  And unless AR gets injured, it's likely we won't see Love play with starters, so it will still be hard to judge if he can be The Man when AR's gone.  At some point soon, I would think, the "he just hasn't had the opportunities" excuse runs out.

Two points:
1) You spelt gazpacho rong.
b) We share a fever (for posting diversity) and the only prescription is more Oshbaul.
