Particularly for Henry:

“He’s not a bad decision-maker,” Nagy said. “That was one of my biggest pet peeves in the draft process was people calling that kid a bad decision-maker. He’s not. He’s a kid that’s played with nobody around him and he was competitive and he was trying to win football games. Did he force throws? Absolutely. Did he have to force throws? Absolutely. You didn’t see bad decision-making on ’18 tape, when he threw 32 touchdowns and six picks. You never heard those numbers brought up the whole process. All you heard was 20 touchdowns, 17 picks. Like, nobody ever went back and talked about ’18.”

1) It's Nagy, QB guru for Turkblerksy

2) "He doesn't make bad decisions, he just likes to throw interceptions (2019) when he has to pass further than 10 yards (2018)".

I'm going to wait and see if "not bad decisions" can "not be an issue in the NFL".

It's Jim Nagy , NFL Scout and Executive Director of the Senior Bowl giving his opinion on Jordan Love.

Trubiskets guru is Matt Nagy.

I wonder why it was guaranteed money?

Part of the CBA ...

"It's the first time the No. 26 pick has received a fully guaranteed deal under the current rookie contract system". I think next year picks 27 & 28 will be guaranteed.

1.  Maybe he took less if the Packers fully guaranteed the money.

2.  Maybe a fully guaranteed  contract makes him think he is less likely to be traded if Rodgers keeps playing at a high level.

11:10  to 11:30  The Packers are the most spoiled team in the history of football. Because they have had 30 years of Franchise quarterbacks, and the hope is for 45 years with Love.  Otherwise you become the Bears and the Vikes forever searching.

Only if they're QB's, I think.

Love is a battlefield --when on the gridiron.

Hot take: Jordan Love gets flipped for at least one if not multiple 1st rounders in 3 years and AR plays here passed 40.

How hot is it, though? If we lose a year of college football, it can only exacerbate QB desperation. I can see Rodgers wanting to do some other things before his brain gets scrambled as well, but I don’t think it’s a sucker bet either way.

I don’t think the lost season changes boards honestly. Trevor Lawrence was going 1st overall (or top 5 at least) whether he played or not, only change would have been if he busts his knee or shoulder between now and the draft. Same with Fields, Lance, etc...the tape is there. There will be football next fall, no way in hell any school skips 2 years, so while true sophs and RS frosh will lose a season of film, they will get next year to make their case. So yeah maybe teams are a little more hesitant about 1 year wonders, it’s not like teams don’t burn high picks on 1 year wonders every year. Love will have to show out like Rodgers did against Dallas in ‘07 to create that opportunity for GB to make a tough call and teams to weigh his pros/cons.

There are too many variables to predict the state 3 years down the road.

Does AR's downward trend in passing effectiveness continue? He's past the age when QB's have historically fallen off the cliff. Yeah, rule changes have allowed more guys to play into their late 30's but Brady and Brees have been short pass specialists for years now. That's been neither AR's preference nor strength.

How badly does Love want to take AR's job? Is he content to sit and wait or will he chafe and put in the extra needed to leverage his youthful advantage over Aaron's experience?

I think Rodgers will have to show a significant rebound and consistency over the next 2 years in order to retire as a Packer. Going forward, Love may never be as good as peak AR but neither will AR.

It was year 1 in a new offense. I think it's fair to give AR another year to see how he functions when everyone is on the same page before we start labeling him as in decline. I think there are some huge factors going into whether they keep or move on from Rodgers including whether his arm and knees are shot (they aren't), if MLF looks like the real deal (too soon to say), how Love responds to being in an NFL offense and what the future of the salary cap looks like. In no way is Rodgers in mental decline, but if he shows signs his arm is wearing out, beyond even what could be accommodated by a shorter passing game then yeah you gotta move on. If LaFleur looks closer to Matt Nagy than Sean Payton and there's a factor of possibly restarting with a new coach in a couple years, then you start clean with a new QB. If Love starts looking like Patrick Mahomes or Russell Wilson, then you have to have the conversation. If the cap goes down and you can't build a competitive team around Rodgers future salary demands, then you have to look to Love whose next contract will be much more manageable.

If Rodgers comes out in 2020 and looks like 2014 Rodgers, LaFleur has another double digit win total and a deep playoff run, if Love is looking really raw, and they work it out so the cap keeps going up then I say you ride the Rodgers train till the wheels fall off. The latter scenario is faaar more likely than any of the others.

I don't think it's better than 50/50 that Love becomes even a serviceable QB, never mind a star.

Rodgers' 5 worst yards/ attempt are in the last 5 years. His completion percentages in those years are among his 6 worst. Is it coincidence that he's well past 30 and has sustained 3 significant injuries? Maybe. Injuries and their effect on performance drive most players out of the league before they choose.

I agree that Wilson/Mahomes level of play is a decider- either for AR or Love.

Aaron is still above average but you can't pay an A+ salary for B play.

Dudes a playmaker no doubt.

That's why we all wanted him.

Packers obviously felt Love was more valuable for the long term success of the franchise.

We'll see......
