With Pat Bowlen's health...anyone know who Elway is answering to these days? A quick ditty I found online says Bowlen was born in Prarie du Chien, WI -  there's a dose of totally useless info for x4 today - I can't imagine there could be more.

Here's 2:

1. Bowlen graduated from Champion High School, a Jesuit run school at that time.

2. Vincente Foxx former or maybe still current President of Mexico also attened there.  School is now closes and in in fact a Wisconsin Prison.

So, clearly, we should be pooping ourselves if he goes to the Bears.

Fox almost won a Super Bowl at Carolina with Jake Delhomme as his QB. He can coach. Of course, he did have a 23 year old Julius Peppers that season.

Changing the the theme a little bit, Belichick will be 63 in April. If he should win another Super Bowl this season would he retire? He will hold the record for playoff wins as a head coach and will really have nothing more to prove.  Could he be tired of it all and just sit back as GM for few more years?

Too bad Rodgers is gaining in the rear mirror.

Not really. You can bar room debate all you want, but things like the TD pass record aren't very likely to be caught by Rodgers. He doesn't even have half the TDs at this point. Rodgers would have to average around 50 TDs/year to catch him. Andrew Luck is probably the only QB in the game right now with a chance to catch him.

You badly misunderstand me. **** records. If that was the metric then Brent would have been there. I'm talking about Greatest of All Time. With 2 or more rings and several more years of production Rodgers is there. NOBODY has played the position at the level he has.

After Horsey's press conference:

@SI_DougFarrar: So... You're gonna get canned if you don't win the Super Bowl, and won't know about the QB for at least a month. Attractive job, Broncos!

Live a few blocks away from the flagship location. Now I haven't been able to stop thinking of their wings all day.

He (Elway) described the parting with John Fox as the culmination of a disagreement over what it takes to win the Super Bowl and stuck to a statement that has lived with him since he signed Manning: ''There is no Plan B. Plan A is still the same - to win a world championship.''

Good luck with "Plan A" & Brock Osweiler as your QB there John.
