Sorry, it is just really hard to take those guys seriously after that photo stunt.
And I bet it isn't going to help them any on Sunday either. Time to knock that group down a notch. They're just setting themselves up for it.
Don't think it matters boys. They're NY, GB is who they are. Talent will prove itself Sunday. I've got my hope it works out.

I've mentioned this before, but I think it was during McCarthy's Wed presser after the WAS game where he said something to the effect that he likes it when people/fans are not happy with them.
Giants secondary had more INT's than TD's allowed.

BTW, both PackerPatrick and DH3 posted the same message - not about the sacks, its about pressure- putting fear in Eli Mae so he does something stupid. Like Favre stupid.
Posted a few days ago that Flowers has had some awful games this season. I don't need PFF to tell me what my own eyes have seen.
NYG had 2 picks in wk05 and it didnât help them a whole lot.
That gives me confidence, we were -1 in turnover battle & still won the game mainly because we did not give up big plays in passing game (only 4.8 yards per pass attempt. We are playing much better offensively now.

That is a bold statement man I like it.
I actually started to laugh a little when I read it but the more I think about it, I may just agree with you.
One of the many things I like about this season is how well we've played at home in the winter. The last few years it seemed like we didn't have much of a home field advantage in the cold and visiting teams seemed to handle it as good as or better than us. This year we've scored 38 points twice at home in the cold and we scored 30 in Chicago. We played really solid defense against the Texans in the snow and put up some points.
I guess my point is that this year the cold hasn't slowed us down at all and the visiting teams seemed to have troubles. 2 TDs and 2 FGs might be all the Giants are able to muster up. I could see us scoring 28+.
I have a really good feeling about this game, I just don't think the Giants will be able to stop us and that will result in Ely having to play from behind and getting reckless.
Packers 31 - Giants 17 That's how I'm feeling and that's what I'm rolling with.
At face value, NYG would seem to be a better team offensively that Detoilet, primarily because of their WRs. In the end, they are remarkably similar.
The defense didn't have many problems holding the Loins to (essentially) 17 points, so I would expect about the same for the Giants--maybe somewhere from 17 to 24 points.
I think what worries me more than anything else about the Giants is that last week, from what I could tell, they were actively trying to lose against Washington. They ran the ball 40 times, not because they were up and protecting a lead, but because they were resting players. They had 19 carries in the first half. At no point did they approach anything close to a modern offense. Beckham played only 48 of 72 snaps and they sacrificed any risk on offense to protect Eli. Despite all of this, they won easily against the 5th best offense in the league per DVOA, giving its all to get into the playoffs. They Packers are currently 4th on offense in DVOA. Nothing is ever easy in the playoffs, and this game will be no different.
I couldn't give two ****s what guys do on their off days. Goodness, it's a grind, let them blow off steam. We celebrate Max getting lit the night before the superbowl, but think some guys getting on a boat is a problem?
I'd say I have no problem with 90% of what the Giants guys did on their time off. The 10% of the problem that I do have, is that they were hanging out with Justin fricking Bieber. Out of all the people in the world they could hang out with and they pick that loser?
Eli is an average to slightly above average QB who's had a couple good postseason runs. NYG defense is very good but see the potent Packer offense scoring just enough that the anemic Giant offense can't match.

Ummm. Max was an old white balding alcoholic....in other words, relateable to us at X4.

I don't think anyone would consider NYG O to be better than DET. I haven't looked at the stats but aren't the NYG averaging about 19ppg? The question of which is the more difficult matchup for our D may have a different answer.

I'm not saying you can't still call out these young black men in such a way that you think sounds edgy and superior, but does little more than make you look like a simpleton with serious projection issues. Just stop using words that disparage a group of people because of how they were born. It's not really cool at all.
And, setting that word aside, I mean, jesus fukking christ man. It's their day off. They are all fabulously wealthy. They have the means to acquire a flight, a boat, and relax after a season ending win. They were back to work on time the next day. Their head coach didn't care at all.
Anyway, here is a picture a very insecure white guy that is jealous of these talented and wealthy black men being able to jet off to Miami for a day when it probably takes him a full year to save up for a half assed vacation to the Dells, and is also probably slightly turned on by this photo and that makes him feel icky and lash out.

Everything tangible and intangible seems to add up to a GB win yet there is one thing I can't quite rationalize. They did beat DAL twice. I haven't dug into those games so I don't know what happened there.
Slightly?

It never had a sexual meaning in my circles and had nothing to do with sexuality at all. In this case it meant "self absorbed douchebag." In retrospect I should have used that instead.
Sorry to have offended anyone. I thought Southpark cleared this up.
weird, in my circles the term for "self absorbed douche-bags" was "pistols".

I agree DH. The Giants O has been struggling. Thier defensive turnaround is the reason they are in the playoffs. See that Ted, did it in one year !!!!
Quote from a NY Giants blog:
"Ben McAdoo has also been VERY stubborn about using "11" personnel ....."
Sounds familiar
Should we send Clay fireworks this offseason?
One more reflection on the game. From what I heard/read the Giants plan on blanketing our receivers. That plan has worked for the most part last year for the teams who played us last year and part of this year. Nelson was gone or still recovering during that stretch. I expect them to have limited successes this game. A lot of man coverage. MM needs to have a plan for just that. Perhaps Cobb and Ty in backfield works, as does some WR bunches. Throw in some pre snap movement, a reverse and out of the pocket passes and we can beat that coverage. I expect the O-Line to give Aaron some time. Of course the bottom line is they have to get open before Aaron throws to them. And then catch the ball (I am looking at you Adams).
A run game would help too.
There should be some good man-beaters in MM's arsenal involving Cook, Ty, Cobb. Somebody mentioned this before - they have 3 really good corners and safety but how good are the rest? How does their #4 and #5 DB matchup vs. Cook, Geranimo, Ty (#whereverthehellhelinesup). They'll be a little more stressed now losing JPP's pressure.

Odell. Perkins. Vernon. All 3 have never played in weather conditions below 30 degrees at kick off! Oh boy! #GiantsVsPackers

I think Ty bounces back with a strong game at RB and catching out of the backfield. Ty may not rip off big yards as an RB, but by strong I mean 3-4 yards a carry -- enough for a 1st down and to keep the LBs close to LOS and open stuff up for Cook, whomever is in the slot, etc. I don't think MM puts Cobb back there because of the ankle.

Here's the thing. If NY goes press man coverage Aaron will look for something to open up. If it's not there he'll pull it down and slowly bludgeon NY to death with his legs. NY doesn't have a LB to spy AR. So maybe they have Collins do it. Which opens up Cook. AR will identify the chink in the armor. Not sure what the urban dickshunary has to say about chinks. But this is the other kind.
