"That's not something that we're high on," Frazier said, reiterating what he earlier told KFAN-100.3, "and he and I are going to talk before we practice [Saturday afternoon]. I've got to grab him. That's not how we do things. We'll talk. We're going to talk about it. He has strong feelings regarding his former team, and that's good. But there is a way to get that communicated, and we've got to sit down and he and I have got to talk a little bit."

Wonder if Gerg is walking on egg shells now?

Bayless after 12 again. "Jennings had guts. AR poor leader, blames others. No other Packer has courage 2 call him out."

Bayless can't stand AR for two reasons...he took Favre's job, won a Super Bowl ring and made Bayless look like the idot he is, and he won't take the bait and give Bayless any relevance. And it drives that little twit nuts.

Really? Quacking about a former team-mate takes guts?  He might be approaching guts, or maybe stupid, if he was spouting off while still a Packer.

Bayless  Brain-less!

Also, Bayless was at one time a Cowboys writer (Dallas Morning News IIRC), back when they were handling the Packers regularly. He knows the passion of Packers fans, so his hatred of Rodgers is tied as much to what you posted as it is to the fact that AR is the Packers QB.

The more he is called an idiot the more idiocy he spews. Like some of the posters on the interwebs...

Jennings just can't shut up. Although they said he was laughing for much of the time, Jennings sounds like he can't keep track of what he's said. Jennings today says:

"...but he offered a rather ham-handed apology to Rodgers on Thursday, after first telling the media that "I don't really recall saying anything negative about Aaron or anybody over there,'' he said. "But hey, I apologize.''

Asked if he had called Rodgers to offer that apology personally, Jennings replied: "No. For what? I'm apologizing right now. If it got to him (meaning his criticism), then I feel like if I apologize to him right here with you guys, you'll make sure he hears that?''

When it was noted that Jennings had just referred to Rodgers by "Aaron,'' Jennings asked: "Did I call him that? Oh, we're talking about 12? Gotcha. No, he's still 12. He's still 12. I can't give him that. He's 12. He's no longer the MVP. We have the MVP over here (running back Adrian Peterson).''

Jennings was smiling and joking when he said most of that, and he went on to claim, rather unconvincingly, that his comments about Rodgers were said "all out of fun. I'm just saying something just to say it. They (the Packers) know that's not me.'"

More here.

A lot of stupid Vikings fans have loved the crap Jennings has been spewing, but you just knew all throughout this that the coaches and front office were furious. There's no doubt that they forced him to make this half assed apology and gave him a stern warning to shut his trap going forward.

Actually, the fans I've talked to (I live in the TCs) have been pretty down on Jennings. They realize that Jennings is talking more about his old team rather than his new one, and that he sounds like a jilted high school girl who is green with envy.  They realize that Jennings is setting Ponder up to fail, and they just want Jennings to shut up. They know Ponder is too fragile to be able to handle any additional pressure.

I expect that Frazier will now tape Jennings' mouth shut...

Here's my wish for the upcoming game with Vikes:

1) Packers leave Jennings seemingly 1on1 with corner to start the game.

2) Vikings/Jennings lickin their chops, take their shot downfield to the boundary because the disciplined Packer CB took away the inside shoulder. Little did Jennings know, the disguised SS McMillian was rotating over the top and of course Ponder hangs it down the sideline. BOOOOOOMMMM, McMillian lowers the hammer on Jennings into the First Row at the Dumpty Dome.

A fella can Ponder and dream, can't he?

And I'd call that scenario a good trade that needed to happen.

Twitter question just posed by:

Jason Wilde     @jasonjwilde

Can you think of any other ex-Wisconsin athletes who've made less-than-graceful exits from the state sports scene like ?

Really Jason??? At best he's being sarcastic. At worst he's talking to his readers like they don't actually follow WI sports on any level. Just a bizarre post.

that list doesn't even end with Favre (who is the most notable)

Bielema didn't endear himself to anyone with his departure, and I would guess Brandon Jennings will soon follow.

Sam Okey did some talking when he left Madison and went to I-O-W-A.

Vikings have to feel he still wishes he was a Packer by now. Sad to watch him do this to himself.

Like Satori mentioned in the Vikings Suck thread, the level of suck runs all the way down to the media. Paul Allen gets aroused any time he can find ANYONE to talk trash about GB and Greg is an easy mark. But PA is such a clouded dumbs**t he doesn't realize he's walking the new prized FA right back into Fraziers doghouse. Moron.

Is it really brainwashing or are the Packers just better than their division mates

I can't think of any areas where the suck-kings are better than the Packers

Dear Gerg, its not brainwashing, its merely the undisputed Truth

You ****ed up and chose very poorly.

Now you get to own it, so I understand why you continue to whine like a pussy.

What a ****ing a-hole.  I really used to like this d-bag.  I was talking to my buddy this weekend who happens to be an Eagle fan.  I live in PA so it comes with the territory.  Anyway, I was bitching about Jennings and he reminded me that I used to say how well spoken Jennings was and how much of a class act he was.  Wow, times have changed.

Name one team that says it's anything but the best. "Hey, we have only the fifth-best coaching staff!" It's not going to happen.

Jennings' brain could be washed in one of those golf ball washers you find on a city course.
