What a guy. P Tim Masthay has JUGS machine at home to catch balls for holding for lefty kicker, to be fair to "Sergio" Tavecchio.

You don't have a JUGS machine at home to practice for a guy that might not even make the team unless you're brainwashed.

Given his stated preferences in QBs, ball-washing is the perfect analogy

Every time he opens his yap, his Q- rating dives deeper into the dirt.

Skip Ahead to 25:00 for the Jennings brainwashed interview

(Brainwash question asked at 33:18)

It's actually a pretty good interview outside of the sensational part of it. Greg talks about how Carlos Rodgers of the 49ers is a pain to play against because of how much contact he makes.  Greg explains how it's easier to get away with PI on the slot WR. Also talks about playing against Antoine Winfield and why he made it difficult for the Packers to run the ball.  I think that part is a lot more interesting than the brainwashing part.

Also talks about the difference between GB training camp and MIN training camp.  Biggest thing learned from this whole saga is the Packers public relations department is light years ahead of the Vikings.

As fans we always want the honest truth, but Greg is an easy example of why they never give it to you.  16 minute long interview and the only thing anyone got out of it was 'brainwashed'. Greg is a poster child for how much emphasis the Packers put on staying out of the headlines and dedicating resources to make sure it happens.

Whatever the rest may have been through the interview, the media will pluck it's parts.

There is no way anyone could deny his butthurt. Sure, some may try, but it is pointless.

I almost am beginning to think the guy just isn't smart enough to have the 30,000 foot view of his life.

He sure is coming off as a hurt ex, despite the fact we offered more a year (reported as 10M) before in an extension than he got as a FA.

The whole Brett was a better QB than 12.

C'mon man, it is a long proven fact that Brent ignored rookies late in his career.  Being what the time was for TOG and when gerg came in, I see no way TOG was a significant influence for being a 'team player'.

Meh, I am wasting kbs.

It's time for the comboplatter poster to go off the wall.  3 of the 5 are gone.  DD, retired, Woody... a Raider, but no longer around and playing, 85.. complete sneaker chewer and playing for the queens.

The others, well Clay and AR.

Curious where this opinion comes from. Jones caught 47 balls as a rookie 3rd rounder in 2007. Keller was a rookie TE with the Jets in 2008 and caught a bunch of balls and we all know how Favre liked his TE. Percy Harvin was a big part of the offense as a rookie in 2009.

I think Favre ignored players he didn't like and maybe they were rookies/young guys. Schroeder comes to mind. But I don't believe he ignored rookies and the numbers back that up.

Well, what that moran fails to realize is now all the fans, media, front office people are seeing what kind of a tool he is. He masquerades as this religious, "Be Great" take the higher path SOB, but really, he's just a malcontent. And if he's saying all this shyte about the Packers, what's he going to say about the Vajeens when he wears out his welcome there?

I interview a lot of people in the hiring process. If anyone starts talking crap about their current or former employer, my ears close and they are off the list. No one wants to hear how some employer wronged you. All that says to me is you have the brain of a child and can't get over things.

To that end, Jennings reiterated on Wednesday something he’s also said on multiple occasions recently: That he’s unselfish and team-oriented.

“I’m going to tell you this, and this is being as honest as I can be: I’m selfish to a certain extent, I’m selfish when I need to be selfish, but I am the ultimate team guy,” he told Allen and Leber. “When it comes to wins and losses, I don’t care what it takes. … When selfishness starts to trickle in is when you’re not having success and you’re not being implemented in the game plan as you need to be.”

"you're not being implemented in the game plan as YOU NEED to be"

therein lies his biggest rub IMHO - he believed the GBP didn't gameplan around him enough, didn't feature him.  well, gerg, that's not the way we do team around here.  we don't feature anyone.

I think Jennings' feeling of being slighted started with the emergence of Cobb. When plays started featuring Cobb as option 1 and when AR started looking for Cobb in other ways, Jennings' "...not being implemented into the game plan" feelings took over. He knew he was being pushed aside and he got ticked about it. Anyone competitive athlete would. Jennings just needed to stop at that point and take a more realistic view of himself: he was hurt more and more often, he was starting to lose separation skills, and he was looking 30 years in the eye. Where Jennings' nonsense about being a team guy falls apart is his spouting off about it; that's a guy who's got hurt feelings and is no longer a team guy.

BTW, in terms of the Vikings' PR Dept., someone told me not too long ago that they had only one-third the staff of most NFL teams. That could explain why they haven't assigned a babysitter to Jennings!

I think another problem for Jennings is he's always been pretty sarcastic with the media. He's likely mixing in some butthurt with his "wit" and it's only making it all the more worse.

Whatever. At least he decided to hold in his whining until he was off the team

MM takes the high road one more time. I applaud his attitude: “The brand name of the Green Bay Packers is something that all of our players are educated on, and then from that the development of your individual brand, hey go for it, but as long as it doesn’t ever jeopardize the brand of the Green Bay Packers."

That's something too few players today think of: the brand of the franchise comes first.

F'n A RIGHT!!!  I am a PACKER FAN first and before any individual player, to include the best of among them.

He was brainwashed! The Vikings have set him free...Thank goodness!

For many of these athletes the bitterness may be minimal, they do have egos but get paid elsewhere, but then the fire gets fueled by their clan. Gotta wonder how much talking Favre does to Greta if not for MeMah and the clan... does Jennings spew this much idiocy about the Packers if not for his wife and sister chatting in his ear?

Some people just can't help themselves and don't know when to stop talking. Always thinking that the next comment will clean the slate of all the previous comments only to to end up deeper in derp.

Greg Jennings embracing the mentor role with Cordarrelle Patterson

Updated: August 11th, 2013 6:41pm

"As far as his talent, you don't teach talent," Jennings said. "You just have it. [Patterson] has the skill set. He knows what he can do out there. It's just a matter of doing it every single play, not one play here, one play there, just every single play."

Reminiscing to his days with the Packers, Jennings said he needed veteran support just like any rookie.

"Even more so than [Donald] Driver, was Robert Ferguson. I came in competing for a job with Ferguson, he pretty much pushed me in the back every day: 'we have to do this, have to do that.' Driver, he was more of an example-type guy, led more by action, didn't say too much," Jennings said. "I remember him telling me, slow down, everything doesn't have to be so fast." continue

Nothing exciting today, thought it was an Interesting bit about Ferguson.

Greg Jennings’ animosity for the Green Bay Packers apparently has no end in sight.

His latest petty jab at the franchise includes signing his autograph along with a “Packers Suck” inscription on a Vikings helmet.

A message sent via social media asking whether the self-proclaimed Vikings fan (according to her profile) personally observed Jennings sign the helmet has, as of yet, gone unreturned.

Jennings has made several thinly-veiled criticisms of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, his leadership and the organization in general since signing with the Vikings in free agency during the offseason.

Just tweeted the pic to Greg Jennings himself and asked if he wrote it. Let's see if he responds.

I sure would like to hear from Greg's sister. She's been quiet since he left the "brainwashers" at 1265.
