JFC quit talking like a damn accountant. You play defense, you line up and hit and tackle and cover the guy across the field wearing the other uniform.
MLF just doesnât get it.
I wonder. Who would be in charge of making sure defensive players understood the defense and got their communication right? Someone would need to coach the defense or something to that effect.
Oh well, I guess weâll never know.

Wasn't the reason he kept Barry last year was something about continuity on defense? There is no one playing on the defense that hasn't been here since training camp. Communication problems shouldn't be happening in Game 14 after 6 months of practices and meetings.

Anyone notice what a REAL defense did to Tommy cutup of the Giants yesterday??
So in the final quarter and a third (aka Garbage time) Tommy picked up another 104 yards passing.
Saints completely shut him down with far less talent on their defense than the Packers.

Joe Barry actually made The Onion today
If the Packers lose to Carolina and the defense gives up more than 21 points, Joe Barry needs to be fired before they board the plane back to Green Bay.
The Panthers have not scored a TD in the last two games.
They have not scored a TD in the first half in the last 5 games.
They are averaging less than 12 points a game in their last 8 games.
Barring a special teams or offensive turnover to give them points, there is no excuse to give up more than 10 points against them.

I think the communication problem is between MLF and Joe Blow. And why the hell he doesn't do something about I can't understand. Several times during games I have seen MLF appear to be livid when the D blew a play. Send Joe Blow packing, JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Barry has to see the handwriting on the wall. If he had any semblance of self respect he'd just resign now. But, oh wait, he wants to get paid to finish the year before getting shit canned. Communication problems, as in Rudy Ford making Joe Barry look bad by jumping up and down while screaming at Jonathan Owens who apparently needed a word with Quay just before the snap. The tape of this game is 1000 times worse than watching it live. Communication problems in week 15 of year 3. MLF is running a clown show.
A little @Eagles scoopage today: Philly very quietly made a change at defensive coordinator this week moving out Sean Desai to another position and replacing him with Matt Patricia. Desai remains with the team in different capacity but Patricia now runs and calls the defenseâĶ

In the old days they used to distribute their paper around town free of charge. Awesome thing to read during my lunch. For some reason since they left town Iâve really stopped reading their stuff. I donât know why.
Attending the state wrestling meet in Madison in the late 80s as a 15yr old, I came across a copy on the street. There was a front page story about Shalala being one of the evil flying monkeys in the wizard of oz. It was done so straight faced that I wasn't quite sure what I was reading. I had never seen anything like it and my head was exploding.
