How did this team make the playoffs?!?!
This was after a big breath where you could see him deciding to choose his words very carefully. https://t.co/TO1FUEgWnL

Wink Martindale just resigned. yes, please
I would wager our "D" will not be unlike what we saw Sunday. Maybe tweak it here and there and be even better. It was obvious the improvement all around.
Now I personally think it will be the bomb if Watson and Doubs play next week. I hope Dillon can come back and spell Jones from time to time. Maybe give him a spell to catch his breath then jump back in and be even more dynamic overall. 150 yds would be nice.
Bottom line though they say ( me too) ''Defense Wins Championships'' !
Unlikely. Ford was put on IR Saturday.
Another D C has come on the market. Not saying we should hire him but the Jags fired Mike Caldwell tonight along with several assistants.
That pic screams "how YOU doin'?"

Wait a minute.....they shutout the Carolina Panthers! How do you terminate someone that shuts down one of the most incredible offenses since the 80's Coryell Chargers.
Much like the offense, the defense is becoming much younger.
These young guys neither grow or develop when they languish in a substandard, under-achieving defense.
Obviously, they need a coach who teaches playing to win, and how winning is the environment that fosters learning ("honing your craft").
Joe Barry ain't that guy.
who is to say that the d got better because mlf is calling the offense and defense now. he did start to get more involved...
time for a new guy, if JB wants to come back as a position coach, great. he's a good guy and mesh's well with mlf?
with the core of this team, we can go far, time for a soul crushing defense now.

Honestly with 8 first rounders invested in it the defense should be getting older not younger
Joe Barry as our DC is just the football gods saying, "here is a fresh new QB and offense that will score lots of points for the next 10 years, but it would be unfair to also give you an elite defense, sorry."
Without these struggles, Packers fans would never understand how hard it truly is to win SB's.

I'm expecting first rounder #9 in April coming up - more defense unless an OT falls to them
If Joe B shuts down the Dallas offense at Dallas this Sunday, then extend Joe B for five years. At least I will know he can do it.
Cowboys Home opponents were not that good. PHI and DET were the two toughest ones....but they put up the points at home

In terms of the first round, they don't need a WR or TE. They aren't going to draft a QB, and RBs generally aren't worth first round picks. Guards and centers aren't usually good value picks there either (although they are not off the table).
Even in terms of defense, they probably aren't going to take another edge rusher just to have them sit behind Gary and Van Ness. They have Clark and Wyatt as interior lineman.
So, yeah, they are either going to pick an OT or a defensive player.
The biggest place to upgrade is LT followed by safety and then interior OL.
They are in a pretty good place personnel wise besides that. They have a lot of solid, young, B-level players you can win with and they just have to see if any of those guys take the next step and morph into Pro Bowl level players. That statement probably applies to about 4-5 of their WR/TEs. Not all of them will make the leap, but 1-2 probably will.
In the end, you can never have too many good DL or DBs, so I would guess they'd go there if a LT type isn't available.
I'm going back to promoting kicker in the first round. Helps the offense, helps the defense, and helps the special teams.
Is there a Ray Guy out there?
Safety first!
I see a lot of mocks having GB take a CB or S in RD1. The others have OL.
They're good with pass rushing IDL but could really use another run stuffer. And how many years does Kenny have left in him. Still young but lots of miles.
Not high round but ILB could be upgraded. Not sure how much Campbell still adds.
Do you think Mike Vrabel would want to be our D coordinator or would that be too much of a step down?
He'll get a HC job, possibly in NE.

You better fucking believe there is. His name is Taylor. Tory Taylor.
You Iowa guys.
PUNTING IS LIFE!!!!

ILB is a spot where they probably need someone from a numbers standpoint. If they wait until late I like Edefuan Ulofoshio from Washington. He's explosive af, but not a youngster as he's about to turn 24 and only about 6'1". He's not a premium pick guy, but would probably be a monster on special teams.
If you watched last night's game, there was a 4th down play near the half he started to show blitz, then jetted to the sideline to break up the pass that probably kept the Huskies in the game.

I think it will go DB In the first round. Then in the 2nd round it will be RB and OL.

I definitely see this being another heavy on the defensive side for the Packers draft.
I see them going DB and ILB for sure and maybe some DL mixed in. Stokes may need to be replaced because after his bad luck with injuries who knows what he can still do and Savage is just a guy at this point.
It may be OL, RB and everyone else is on D.
They have 11 picks but possibly not as many holes on the roster so it should be interesting to see where Gute trades up.
I think ILB is a need as Campbell will be getting the Rasul
treatment I think
you mean traded for a third round draft pick?
