Frazier was a DC for the Vikes before becoming HC, and those defenses were well-coached and did very well. Of course, it helped Frazier to have a younger Allen, K. & P. Williams, and Winfield. I think DC is where Frazier belongs, as HC was just one step too high on the food chain for him. It could end up being a good hire by Lovie.

DallAss is easily the absolute worst.

Washington is not far behind.

Houston probably rounds out this group.

Carolina might be included, but if Richardson interferes, he does it quitely.

In any case, these teams have the worst to offer in meddlesome owners, and have no future.

I am not sure I would care which one is worse.  I wouldn't take any of those jobs unless I get paid $35 mill for at least 5 years.  Then when the owner interferes I tell him "I coach the **** team".  For any of those owners who think they are more than owners, that would be enough to set in motion the events that will end my employment after a year or two.  My buyout price would be $15-20 mill.  So I'd trade a year or two of hell for never having to work another day in my life.  I would do it with that in mind.  If the owner actually lets me do it my way and I get results, and it turns into a longer term project, so be it.  Life could be worse.

Seriously, what coach in their right mind would take a job there? Or in Washington, for that matter. At least in places like Detoilet, they let the coach rise/sink to their own level of incompetence without interfering.

The first and only change that Jerry could make that would mean anything for Dallas would be to fire himself as the team's GM.  Until that happens nothing will change.  But I agree not a desirable job unless I get paid enough for the grief.

I don't think he'll ever get another NFL job...Sherman's demons have turned him into Captain Queeg from the Caine Mutiny.

I know he had serious issues with squirrels , I hope he gets the help he needs

I agree with this:

@PackerUpdate: In my opinion, MM should promote McAdoo to OC and give Clements the title of assistant head coach/QBs. McAdoo is too good to let get away.

If McAdoo goes to MIA, here's my dream coaching offensive staff for next season:

McCarthy - HC

Bennett - OC

Van Pelt - QB

Bobby Turner - RB

John Rushing - WR

Fontenot - TE

Bruce Matthews - OL

McAdoo interviewing with CLE (on Wednesday).

Ben McAdoo's interviewing for a head-coaching job is a surprise. Just like when Andy Reid, also a Packers QB coach, was hired by Eagle

So you're going to fire Clements and Campen? Clements will stay as long as Rodgers is here I thinks. If Campen got fired my guess would be Fontenot would move to OL and the opening would be at TE coach. If Clements got fired and MacAdoo leaves I think they would move Bennett to RB, Van Pelt to QB, and hire an OC from the outside. My guess would be someone McCarthy has worked with, but I'd like to see someone brought in as OC who has proven track record like Gary Kubiak or Rob Chudzinski.

TE is pretty much an entry-level position in the NFL after quality control assistant. It is a place you can put an unproven guy to see if he can actually coach without doing too much damage. It's also a place you can put a guy who might not be a great coach, but is a great motivator, or a guy players relate too...good for team morale, etc.

Isn't MM pretty much his own OC? I always felt like our OC was pretty much in name only. Maybe MM needs to promote McAdoo, and back off a bit...let him call most of the plays.

McCarthy hired Van Pelt as the RB coach after he had been a QB coach and he moved Bennett from RB coach to WR coach specifically with the purpose of broadening their overall coaching experience.  Why would he suddenly pigeon-hole them back to former spots?  If McAdoo leaves, and under the assumption McCarthy would want to hire from within, I could see Bennett as the QB coach and Van Pelt to WR coach.

Which former QB wore Lee jeans?  Majkowski? McMahon? T.J. Rubley?

Favre of course is famous for promoting Wrangler jeans.
