Not if his goal is to be a head coach some day.

Van Pelt has decided to stay in GB and has officially been moved to QB coach

While Pettine had identified Alex Van Pelt as top OC candidate, I'm told he's agreed to stay in GB, and will now be QB coach (had been RBs)

Van Pelt is very highly regarded by the Packers, and their QB coaches have been in demand. Working with Aaron Rodgers a great opportunity...

So Van Pelt replaces Ben McAdoo (now the OC in Green Bay) as the Packers QB coach

Obviously meant to say McAdoo is OC for New York

Smart man to avoid going to Cleveland

Let's see...coach in Cleveland & go 5-11 then get fired or win a Super Bowl coaching Aaron Rodgers...

What would be best for my career?? Decisions...decisions.

I was kinda impressed how the Brownies played last season, for the most part. They absolutely raped the Dolts on the Richardson deal, they have a stud WR in Gordon, a top 10 TE, and their D played OK.

The cupboard aint that bare, I think Pettine will be OK.

Stafford's that bad it will take three QB coaches to get him to back into shape? Geez, we better hire at least four OLB coaches and an ILB specialist for Hawk if we want to keep pace. Although, as Denver QB coach I'm sure Jim Bob just held a water bottle for Peyton.

The addition of Cooter isn't completely without controversy, albeit from his past. In 2009, three years after a DUI arrest, he was charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly climbing through the window of a woman's apartment, stripping down to his underwear and getting into the woman's bed before she called police.

Nothing like living up to your name.
