While we are all disappointed with the way MLF has dealt with Joe Blow firing him for that is just rong.  The job he and Clements have done with Love is amazing.  To see Love's  improvement and turn around in the last half of the season is comperable to what Lombardi did with Bart Starr in 1959 and 1960.  Keep a good thing going.

"Since Week 11, Love has been the most blitzed quarterback in football, yet out of 42 eligible quarterbacks, he ranks 13th in pressure rate. During that span, Love is completing 68.2 percent of his throws at 7.7 yards per attempt with six touchdowns to one interception."

This speaks highly of both Love and the OL getting on the same page vs all these blitzes the DCs are throwing at young Jordan. Lots more in the article

Man I missed you.

Didn't AR do something similar?

I distinctly remember Doubs saying he never hung out with Rodgers outside of the building.  I don't think he meant it as a slight (he was just answering a question), but...

IIRC, at the time, the prevailing story amongst the media was how Rodgers had nothing in common with these young guys, and was making comparisons to when TOG had his separate, isolated locker.

I don't think it was a slight, either.

Young guys are all into cars and video games.
Old guys are all into colon cleansing and psychedelic tea.

He's the anti-Rodgers when it comes to developing chemistry with young or new teammates. Even into his late 30's and early 40's.

If you want more than that, go ask someone else.

Lazy bum. Write that fucking essay.

@ByRyanWood:  Matt LaFleur on Jordan Love: "He's a tough-minded sucker. His family did a hell of a job raising him in terms of just what he's all about. I think you guys would all agree, the ones who know him in here, he's about the right shit."

Props to YA….he told us this years ago.

The throw to Reed on the last drive, 3rd and 8 from their own 13, Reed takes a banger from the S and hangs on for the first.

Considering the situation this reminded me a lot of the AR to Cobb throws vs. CHI.

My biggest concern about Love from the preseason and even into late in the regular season was his consistency.  I expected ups and downs but was concerned more about him not being able to iron out the downs to become more consistent.

After a hot start I thought he might crash a bit, which he did.  Then he got hot again and I was expecting another dip his performance.  Hasn't come.  In fact he appears to be getting better every week. His 1Q throws and overall layups have improved and he's straight up fucking defenses hard pre-snap.  I won't even say what he's been doing to blitzers.

We all got giddy about his potential after the late game rally vs PHI last year and we knew what he was capable of.  But to do it consistently like he has the last 8 weeks and then even continue getting better was really not something I was expecting.  He is playing as well as anyone in the league right now.

All things considered with this roster, somehow the math has to add up to him at least being considered as an MVP candidate.  And MLF for COTY.  Not one pro bowler or all pro on the roster.  Youngest offense ever.  It's damn impressive.
