Contrast all of Cowturd's mid-season shitting all over Love to the end of season ball-washing magnificence in this clip...
"ball washing magnificence"

What would happen is he wouldn't get to play with future stars in Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Dontavious Wicks, Malik Heath, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft.

Well......Let's just see what would've happened.....then we hop in the DeLorean come back and put Love back on the Packers.
Not talking permanently......
Great Scott!!
Jordan Love has been better than 2022 Aaron Rodgers
โ Peter Bukowski (@Peter_Bukowski) January 4, 2024
- From a clean pocket
- Against the blitz
- Vs. Pressure
- Outside structure
- As a deep ball thrower
- As a playmaker
But Love has done fewer news making interviews about his bowel movements so Rodgers beats him there

Great Scott, Matty! It's your defensive coordinator!!!

Without Jordan Love, you're picking from the following QBs GB had a shot at, so that answers the question IMO https://t.co/hFMPT1yK14 pic.twitter.com/Kwhrwzgycn

Timing only an issue because AR had a temper tantrum over the pick. Generally like and agree with Wilde, but that's BS.

Re-read it....Wilde is asking IF you had a problem with the timing of it, can you NO LONGER stand by that position because Love has turned out good?
My point was simply that the timing argument has always been fatally flawed.
Ron Wolf famously drafted QB's every year. Aaron Brooks. Matt Hasselbeck. Brunell & Ty Detmer.
There is never a bad time to draft a QB.
Gutey extracted 2 more MVP seasons out of Rodgers....and Aaron knows it too....all because Gutey drafted Love.
There will be a time when Loves replacement gets drafted too. Circle of life in the NFL
My guess is he was in the top half of the first round on the Packers' board. Gutey just did the same thing TT did with AR- trust the process.
I firmly believe the rise in 10's production is directly attributable to the OL getting their shit together the last 5 games. Yes, 10 has made progress, but not running for your life and having a respectable threat of a run game are his DFH.

Itโs a team game

If you remember....the Colts tried to trade up to get Love too. Packers beat em to it

I would love to know what Loves record would have been in Green Bay with Christian MCCaffery in the backfield all year.
so if the Packers win a game or two in the playoffs (after they beat the bears of course) and draft in the mid 20s, do they draft Michael Penix if he is there when they draft. (I realistically don't think he last past pick 12)

Or a healthy Aaron Jones all season

No, but a trade down could easily happen
I don't know about drafting a QB this year but I thought Big Red dog's bomb at the end of the game Sunday was hilarious!

That coincides with the MLF comment that after the Steelers game, both he as playcaller and Love as QB were able to focus on just letting it rip
( explosive plays)
I am as pumped for this game as I have been for any game in a while. A playoff game on the line with JL as QB and the youngest team in the NFL. Wow! Bears, Vikings, and Lions fans are surely feeling sick and probably in denial about what they are seeing.
I think Clifford is going to be a capable backup. I would definitely try to trade down if one of the top 5-6 QB's are there and you have a willing trade partner.
Also, can't help but wonder what would have happened if the Colts had landed Love.
We could have Uncle Rico!

Partially. Also had a lot to do with the cutting down on stupid penalties and on the young receivers no longer running wrong routes. You still see 2 guys in the same spot once in a while but that was happening regularly during their losing streak. As were the penalties.

Not only did they not land Love, they then went on to pass on Jaylen Hurts twice in the second round.
Bo Melton said today that Jordan Love has hosted dinner and a film session at his house with the entire offense every Monday since the season started. Defense is invited, too.
โ Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) January 4, 2024
"Just the bond of staying connected with him, that's big as a wide receiver."
Didn't AR do something similar?
Yes, but there was a trough of ayahuasca involved. And they were all pooping in a dark room. No film study.
Jordan Love has a chance to etch his name in Packers lore with win over Bears (paywall)
Yet whatever Love does off the field to grow his relationship with teammates matters only so much if he doesnโt perform between the white lines. After a first half of the season marred by turnovers, an inability to generate explosive plays, inaccuracies and an underwhelming supporting cast, the Packers have won five of their last seven. No. 10, despite a lackluster defense and special teams over the last month, has led the charge. Heโs protecting the football, making pinpoint throws, checking the ball down efficiently when he needs to, making off-balance and off-schedule plays like his predecessor and operating the offense with a calm perhaps uncharacteristic of a first-year starter.
I wonder if Rodgers will throw 32+ TD Passes for the Jets in 2024?
He should start with the goal of throwing 32 passes.
Perhaps baby steps first ... take 32 snaps?
Achievable ๐
32 minutes
"Since Week 11, Love has been the most blitzed quarterback in football, yet out of 42 eligible quarterbacks, he ranks 13th in pressure rate. During that span, Love is completing 68.2 percent of his throws at 7.7 yards per attempt with six touchdowns to one interception."
This speaks highly of both Love and the OL getting on the same page vs all these blitzes the DCs are throwing at young Jordan. Lots more in the article
