Yeah. Neither will win it but both need to be talked about WAY MORE than they are. Maybe those accolades are coming soon though.
This should be the season for MLF.
First year starter at QB, not a single pass catcher with more than 1 year of experience. All pro LT plays 1 game and he leads that squad to be one of the better offenses in the NFL and a playoff game.
Stefanski & Demeco Ryans will also be in the conversation. It will end up being between those 2 IMO.
MLF sucks obviously and Jordan Love is overrated.
Yeah, I'd give it to Stefanski. 5 starting QB's (last one by choice) and salvaging a season with Joe Flacco? Joe Flacco who the Vikings could have signed when Cousins was lost for the year? Or the Jets when they were looking at pivoting from Aaron Rodgers to Zach Wilson?
Yeah, MLF will not win COTY. The dip to go to 2-5 will be too much for him to overcome, despite having the youngest roster in the league, the injuries, and a first-year starting QB. But, I can't argue with Stephanski or Ryans either; they've each done a heck of a job.
Didn't care for the EZ throw and the end of the first half and the fumble was just sloppy ball security so he wasn't perfect. EZ throws to both Doubs and Melton that they couldn't bring in were unbelievable.
Exciting to see the QB come up really big when the moment required it.

#Packers QB Jordan Love when targeting top rookie draft picks Jayden Reed, Luke Musgrave, Tucker Kraft and Dontayvion Wicks in 2023:
— Zach Kruse (@zachkruse2) January 8, 2024
168/238 for 2,081 yards, 15 TDs, 2 INTs, 113.4 passer rating.
J-Love going all Patrick Mahomes on us!
Matt LaFleur said after the game Reed isn't really in the progression here, just J-Love making a play.
— Peter Bukowski (@Peter_Bukowski) January 8, 2024
It worked out because they caught the ideal coverage for Reed to turn this into a makeshift wheel route. https://t.co/0zO9gW2Bza
Too bad Bo Melton could not have gotten in front of #4. That probably would have been a TD.
Jordan Love's final NFL rankings from first season as #Packers' starter...
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) January 8, 2024
Touchdown passes: 2nd
Passing yards: 7th
Completions: 8th
Passer rating: 9th
Games with 100+ passer rating: T-2nd
He's already a top 10 quarterback.
@Pikes Peak posted:Props to YA….he told us this years ago.
It was a privilege to watch him grow up at my high school, Krys Barnes too. Decent young men with their heads screwed on right, despite the horrible death of Jordan’s dad.
Called the top 10 thing in the Wins prediction thread 😁
Jordan Love led the league outright with the most starts this season (9) with multiple Pass TD and 0 INT.

The last QB to do this in their first career season as a primary starting QB*... Roger Staubach... in 1971.

Matching Roger Staubach....a record that's stood for 52 years....
Wut.....🤯
I noticed that on Bo’s non block.
Benefitting from elevated play and consistency on the OL, at RB and at WR, Love has also cleaned up his own game. Now he's hitting the layups, the dunks and the 3's.
He's hitting guys in stride and their YAC has taken off with guys like Reed and Wicks.
since everything this year is being compared to Aaron Rodgers I decided to check out ARs 1st playoff game. Against Arizona-28-42 423 yards 4 tds and 1 Pick. JL will be 30 of 42 for 425 yards, 5 Tds and no pics. This time the good guys win 48 to 45.

I was at that game. Finley was unstoppable
Oh that must explain it.

And a missed facemask penalty.

Earlier in the the season I commented how come we never see our WR running completely uncovered like K C WR do for Mahomes, especially last season Guess what, the last few weeks we see our WR running completely uncovered. It just takes time for these young pups to figure it out. Can't wait for Sunday and even more next season.
Packers WRs have been wide open the last 6 or 7 weeks. It's mind boggling. That's just putting work in. By everybody .
Some (Doubs, Reed, Wicks) seem to already know how to find holes in the zone. That is a surprise in WRs who are so young.
They're probably used to carving up Barry's zone in practice every day. Just becomes second nature after a while.
Not if you trust the process and coaching. Amazing . No way 12 does this well with this group. Who would he "trust" enough to throw to? Nobody.
In a strange way, Love seems to make it look easier than Rodgers. I think it's because he is not scrambling as much and is willing to throw it to the open man, so the ball comes out faster.
Early Rodgers was the same. But yes, I think taking what the D gives him is making it look a lot more "on schedule" and easy.

Jordan Love was truly sensational for the 4th time in the second half of the season. I was dead wrong on Love. That was so much fun to watch. Stay for a fun Rodgers line. So happy for Love, LaFleur, and the amazing and passionate Packers fans. https://t.co/WBlGEbvr0i

#9 for the Bores is none other than Jaquan "Smoked" Brisket, who, with his excellent technique and coverage, had a close-up view from which he could confirm his opinion of what a fake tough, nobody receiver is.
He throws corner routes as well as anyone in the league. This is a fucking laser https://t.co/GVa9JRAHKb
