The goal-to-go stats from Love were spectacular last year-
But I didn't realize the historical nature of that accomplishment:

"In 2023, the Packers scored touchdowns on a staggering 95% of goal-to-go drives.

That not only ranked #1 in 2023 (the next closest team was 83%)
…but it ranked #1 for any team in goal-to-go database history !

(since 2000 via TruMedia)

That stat is largely on MLF, I think. The play calling around the goal line was unbelievable.

Failed goal-to-go situations: from a quick search

I found that Anders was 6/6 on FG's between 20 -29 yds.
Those would be the goal- to- go scenario's where GB didn't score a TD and settled for 3. I think there was at least 1 failed 4th down and maybe an INT or 2 ?

Of the failed goal- to- go drives, 5 of them had 3rd down incompletions by Love and of those (2) were TDs that were overturned by replay ( bastards )

Fuck Tom Brady

Can't believe you posted anything from that cheatin asswipe in this  thread.

Shameful, blameful and reprehensible. Inconceivable, retrievable, impeachable

Where's The Icon? His favorite player is on Wilde and Tausch talking about baking bread. Yes, the legend himself, Craig Nall. Man, that dude, The Icon, hated Aaron Rodgers. Can you imagine what he thinks of Jordan Love?

Love thinking about all of the weapons available to him...and that doesn't even include Keisean Nixon who was lobbying MLF for some time with the offense last year.

Lots more here in the article from Packers Talk- including how cheep these weapons are for a few more seasons

The crux of his argument.

Lots of guys have Love's arm talent...few have his arm & brain talent. IMHO, that is what separates him from a dum dums like Mitch Trubisky, Jay Cutler, etc.

And that's why any circle-jerking about Caleb Williams and the like is so laughable...the dude hasn't even been through a training camp yet much less an NFL season. If he isn't a total bust, it may take 3-4 season to fully find out.

And in all honesty, there were times last season I thought 10 might have enough dum dum in him to make him not the guy...multiple game-ending hero ball throws worried me. But the rapid and consistent improvement we saw from Carolina into the playoffs gave me real hope.

I concur and hope he learns from those poor throws in that Niner playoff game the same way AR did from his mistakes in that infamous Cardinal playoff game.

AR was money in the playoffs the next year.

I'm gonna start calling him "Long Bus"

One of the comments from Love that caught my ear was him talking about all of the young guys on offense. He said they're further along this year and that allows the Packers to call audibles and change calls at the LOS.

That wasn't possible last year and that puts a much bigger strain on the OL and hinders the success of the offense. That's kind of a big deal...

I don't know where to put this so I choose this place.

The Packers did not make the list of top 10 WR Trio's.  Maybe because we don't have just three?  But you would think that Watson, Reed, and Doubs would in there somewhere.

^^^ I think the Packers' WRs have a ton of potential.  But that list above has at least one legit star that's proven over the course of more than one year.  The Packers' WRs are young and still have a lot to prove.  The ceiling says they'll be in the Top 5 in short order.

It will depend on what the qualifications are.  If it's stats, our group could have a tougher time vs. the other better known trios.  When your WR4 & 5 plus two very capable TE's see a lot of action, it's going to drive down the top 3's stats.  That's not even considering what MLF has in mind for Jacobs and Lloyd in the passing game.

On all cylinders this offense is just going to be exhausting for opposing Ds.

IMO, any three WRs in Green and Gold, should have made this list.  Doubs, Reed, Watson, Melton, Wicks, Heath or Toure, any three of these guys should have made that list. I'll even throw in Grant DuBose, Deuce Watts and Julian Hicks.

Fucking Cowturd...anyone who takes an ounce of what that hot-take click-baiting motherfucker says about anyone is an idot.

For reference, Cowturd is part of the Caleb Williams circle-jerk gang. For now...

Not only that but many in the media don't even mention the Packers in the top 8-10 teams in the NFL and barely in the top 7-8 in the NFC.  The disrespect to me is baffling but then again being far under the radar is a good thing.

Are we talking about the same people who cannot see the bus until it has driven over them at least 16 times? Not a shock!

They love to hate us!

10's agent just did a cartwheel...

Crazy money for Lawrence 👆who in three years of starting has yet to flash as well as Jordan did over the last half of 2023.

10 is gonna get paidddddd

Chicago is a large market and playing this up is going to generate a lot of clicks for him.
