My point is this draft thread couldn't be any more ****ing official.
And the draft can't possibly come fast enough.

This might be the best place to put it: I really hate Path to the Draft on NFL Network. They place redundant and ridiculous attention to the top 10 picks and almost exclusively to the first round. I watch maybe two episodes now because it's so redundant.
I think they talk about the Packers about 3 times during the duration of a season of that show

If the Packers were drafting top-10 we'd be sick of hearing about them on there. It's just so damned compartmentalized as to be useless to anyone who really cares about the draft in general.

More research I do the more I think Levin would be a stretch at #172. The highest I found him on anybody's list is at CBS Sports and he's #237 there. For all the mock draft talk, did you ever stop to consider that prospective draft picks might considered themselves to be mocked by those who create mock drafts and then by those who mock mock drafts?
There is a reason they call them "mock" drafts.
A haul of something like TJ Watt (OLB)/Cordrea Tankersley (CB)/Josh Reynolds (WR)/Brian Hill (RB)/Chase Roullier (OL)/Tashawn Bower (OLB)/Detrich Wise Jr. (DT/DE/OLB)/Corey Clement (RB) would be pretty sweet. I somewhat doubt TT takes more than one corner with all the young guys on the roster they seem to like.

I like Ogunbowale more than Clement. Ogunbowale can block and catch passes out of the backfield better than Clement and we can probably pick him up as an UDFA and use the spot Clement had here for someone else.
TT/MM prefer bigger RBs. De'Veon Smith would be another possibility. The names don't have to be exact, just the spread of abilities and sort of the general draft position.

Thanks for the link. This is why I wouldn't take McCaffrey in the first, despite reports he could go top 10. You're better served drafting an outside pass rusher in the first and looking for an RB later.
Yes, its also matter of "value verses need". Reaching for need is often a fools errand. I am beginning to understand the phrase "Letting the draft come to you". As a fan its so frustrating to see a need that seems to be ignored by the team, when in fact, there is a much larger picture in play. The term "value" is beginning to make more sense now.
