Great pick.
Good player, don't love it, but like it.
Id rather have Metcalf there but OL is needed.
Uh, maybe Turner is slotted for RT?

Hawaiian LB. No luau for you.
Jerks totally ignored this guy slobbering over Lock
Depth is needed....good pick.
Playing G I assume?
Wish they’d upgrade speed on offense but OL depth is a huge need.
A center? Seriously????
Power center, Miss state

ELGTON JENKINS, Mississippi State (6-4 ½, 311, 5.10, 2): Fifth-year senior. “He and McCoy are very, very similar,” said one scout. “Really good football player. Good athlete. Balance, hands, feet, FBI (football intelligence). I’d say late first or second.” Started 26 games at center in 2017-’18 after making five starts at LT, two at LG and one at RG in 2015-’16. “He doesn’t have a dominant trait but he’s productive, strong, experienced,” another scout said. Longest arms (34) of the centers. Wonderlic of 19. “I like him but he has a little degree of stiffness,” a third scout said. “He’s never had a quarterback under center. If he’s going to have to step and reach (block) that’s going to be hard.” From Clarksdale, Miss
Awesome! An offensive lineman!

If the draft a tackle it could shake Spriggs' confidence.
Plug in everywhere but LT
Don't know anything about Jenkins but I like the interior line help. I would have been fine with A.J. Brown too.

Starting G and a guy that can slide over to C if an injury occurs. Smart pick when you consider the franchise lines up behind him. No Rodgers, no go.
I guess they didn't have anything to say about our pick either.
Good pick by the Patsies.

He played at both Tackle spots and LG before moving to Center last year.
Gutey likes versatile big guys with bubble.
I'm so used to TT taking a WR in the 2nd round I just auto assumed it would happen again.

He worked hard for that participation ribbon.
2013 NFL draft.... somebody get that man some glasses... and a rocking chair.
What year now?
In the minority here, I know, but I'm not a Linsley fan. Blocks nothing a lot.
In any case, needed depth and size and some experience at G.
Going into next season, GB has added Cole Madison, a versatile FA and now a high draft pick. Suddenly, an injury doesn't send the line into panic mode. Well done Gute.
JC Tretter should've got the contract.

Linzzzley's a decent blocker, but if I had a nickel every time he had a blatantly obvious low/high snap that Rodgers was miracuoulsy able to savage...I've never understood the near-universial mancrush around him.
Tretter was injured a lot, but he was the superior lineman. Not only was he strong at the LOS, he was able to push into the second level as well. A true shame he couldn't stay healthy.

The in draft phrase this year is "twitchy." Not sure what it means. "Bubble" definitely fits Jenkins better.
Pick looks good to me.
"The Minnesota Vikings select . . . Elgton Jenkins" GET A NEW CARD!!!
The Packers just foiled the Spielman "all centers Oline" project. You never know where the ball is snapped from.

Ditto. His limp shotgun snaps are not favorites either.
Damn. Vikes Got Irv Smith. I used to like him.

Tretter was more athletic and could get to the second level better than Linsley, but Linsley was much better if the defense lined a NT up over the center, Tretter didn't have the anchor to deal effectively with that.
Houston is serious about fixing their O-line.
Well, the Chiefs just took their Tyreek Hill replacement.
Did DK Metcalf kick someone's dog? WTF
WR has to be the worst position to only have "potential" going for you. He apparently had a dust up with the 9ers when invited for a visit. So potential and shitty attitude may not be doing him any favors. You can't be a diva if you don't have the output to show for it.
I bet he ends up a mid round flyer pick like Polite.
