If it's a tackle at #15, it will most likely be Paris Johnson or Peter Skoronski.

After drafting 3 OL last year? I think the Packers would be even better served drafting a stud TE, who can be a quarterback's best friend. That would be either Michael Mayer or Darnell Washington.... maybe Musgrave, if he is healthy. Kincaid now has an injury, and he's not known as a blocker.
If you don't like the value at #15, trade down and get one, and add a pick or two, but they better grab one of these guys.
It's either that, or find the right free agent. Problem is, the good ones won't be cheap.

Which means they'll probably take four more offensive linemen this year and might get some meaningful snaps from one of them.
I hope not. Rhyan and/or Walker need to pan out.
We passed on safeties Nick Cross and Kerby Joseph to take Rhyan. Joseph, in particular showed us what he can do. Cross' rookie season wasn't much to speak of.
great quote from one of my favorite NFL analysts, Greg Cosell

Here's a FanSpeak mock I just did: Look where I drafted Brian Branch. Maybe he fell because FS listed him as a CB, not a S???? No trades, here, either.
@Chongo posted:Just a reminder as we enter this silly season, Davante was one of the least athletic WR in the draft when we took him.
One of the draft prediction βexpertsβ wondered if his basketball skills could ever translate to the NFL.

Jammie Robinson is an intriguing guy. He has corner athleticism and size, and a strong safety's mentality. Most of his plays are in the box and I don't know that he has cover skills to match his athleticism.
Brian Branch in the 7th round?
...... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA...

This is at least the 2nd mock I've done, where I've found Brian Branch in the 7th round.
I get it... I used to use FanSpeak, but their board is suspect.
We'll see how things shake out after the Combine and pro days.
The PFF board is pretty jacked up too. Next week they should be adjusting them a fair amount as more comparisons from the combine come in. The upside is their trade engine allows you to account for players but the downside is it doesnβt show players going as theyβre drafted to see when you want to make a trade up.
Fanspeakβs big boards are all over the place, so it really depends on which one.
TDN isnβt up yet, Mock Draft Database might be best so far. PFN is okay, too.
Warrant issued for almost certain top 5 pick Jalen Carter
Soon to be Buc, Raven or Brown.
@R MaN posted:Warrant issued for almost certain top 5 pick Jalen Carter
Don't the Raiders get to first draft him before the warrant is issued??

Could move up to number one on the Mean Machine board.
Tank running circles around the defender at the Senior Bowl...
Carter's arrest will certainly shake the draft up.
He still may get picked, but I'd bet it won't be in the 1st round. It may not even be a 2nd or 3rd, depending on a team or owner's desire to put up with the media circus.
Of course, there's always a Jimmy Haslam....

Belichick, I can see him grabbing Carter.

But Amari something, something, something.
Carter says he will be exonerated.
I believe saying it is all that is required, I say draft him is he is there, what could go wrong

Yup, get hm a fall guy and letβs roll
So far the only two charges against Carter are misdemeanors.
Yeah, I have a feeling this isn't going to amount to much more than essentially some "youthful stupidity" charges. He's probably high profile enough that telling lies to authorities won't be pushed too hard. Maybe a team will hire a Dez Bryant chaperone for his rookie season.
@D J posted:But Amari something, something, something.
Amari never had the moves Tank has. That being said, I doubt the Packers would select him. It will require a high pick, and I think they'd rather go with a bigger receiver.
So really, who are realistic receivers for Green Bay?
We'll take out Johnston as he'd require a first. 6'2" or taller, projected sub 4.5 40
Cedric Tillman TN
Xavier Hutchinson Iowa State (maybe sub-4.5)
Jonathan Mingo Mississippi
Dontayvion Wicks UVA
Andrei Iosivas Princeton
AT Perry Wake Forest
Puka Nacua Yale
Jaedon Haselwood AR
Jalen Wayne South Alabama (maybe sub-4.5)
Michael Jefferson LA
Justin Shorter FL
Jadakis Bonds Hampton
Joseph Ngata Clemson
Tyrone Scott Missouri State
What about TEN WR Hyatt?
He's likely too short, and goes in the first.
I think he's actually a decent blocker from what I've seen, even though he's not a big guy.
Good breakdown of S in draft by Wahle

Yeah, you can definitely remove Johnston. The Packers just met with him at the combine. When is the last time the Packers drafted one of those guys in the first? Never?
WR's on my wish list, not in any particular order:
Hutchinson
Perry
Hyatt
Mingo
Tillman
Johnson
Rice
Reed
Wilson

The Packers are showing interest in ex-Maryland standout kicker Chad Ryland. Ryland told me at the Combine in Indy that he once made a 75-yard field in practice.
