If Iโ€™m the Bears, Iโ€™m telling him he can have ownership and then trading the pick.  Welcome to big leagues, Caleb.

I donโ€™t want that headache on my team.

Where does this dude think he is going to go?   Good teams donโ€™t have the capital and already have a QB.

Honestly, Chicago is probably the best option for him.   A 7 win team with their draft capital, cap situation, and ascending defense.    Tell me a better situation that a 1st pick QB has ever walked into.

Kid is a moron, making demands like heโ€™s got Tom Brady resume already.

Worked for John Elway.

A stud safety like a Polamalu type would be great for this group. Is there one?

Style-wise, Green Bay likes their safeties more interchangeable, so probably not what they're looking for.

Jaden Hicks from Washington State is somewhat similar, I think, but he doesn't do anything as well as Polamalu did.

Most of the best safeties this year are hybrid guys with emphasis on good coverage skills and can play in the slot.

Even the mock draft big boards I've seen, have several players listed at one position but are listed as another on someone else's big board. Iowa CB Cooper DeJean is one. He is listed as a CB in some big boards but in mock drafts, he gets drafted as a Safety. Same goes for DE, Edge and OLBs. If you are looking for a particular player, in a mock draft, he could be found at a position other than what some  big boards have him listed as.

Are there any "Charles Woodson's" out there? Someone who can play CB/S yet has the ability to poke his nose around the LOS. Woodson was one of the truly great players to don a Packers uni. I loved the way he played defense and want Gutey to find his clone.

I'd be leary about picking an IA DB in the 1st. IA DBs play strictly zone  ... do it damn well and are fundamentally sound. But remember Josh Jackson? I was thrilled when Gutey picked him but turns out he couldn't cover a caterpillar one on one. Name an IA DB who has had an impact in the NFL ... Hyde and ???
