We’ll see. Gonna be tougher then last year.  They will have 10 playoff teams on the schedule if they add the Chiefs game.  I don’t see them getting any better.

So GB will go 13-4.  And GB will STILL win the division.

I am not going to lose sleep, get an ulcer, or get into a early grave over something I as a fan/owner (such as it is) have no control over.  And that includes the schedule, free agency, the draft, or any other aspect of the Packers.  But you are certainly welcome to do so - don't let us stop you.

But you make it sound like you have control with your access and sure fire fixes.  SO don't complain to us when you can complain to Packer management.

Someone explain why they haven’t restructured Rodgers?  Why?

Enlighten me please!!!

Is AR a free agent?  NO.  So if they are going to restructure - and they may not need to for free agency purposes - they have some time.  FA starts tomorrow.  If they need to RS ARs contract to sign draft picks,  the draft is in 45 days.  There is time.

Again, use your access and go ask the people who can do something about it.  It is NOT our place to "enlighten" you about something the rest of us have no knowledge of.  It is our place to discuss stuff and then see what happens - that's what fans do.

I never said I had any access that could do anything about Aaron Rodgers contract! Geez!

What I said is I have heard from β€œSeveral Sources” that he wanted a β€œ1+4=5 year Extension”

So now were gonna take things completely out of context.  Gotch ya!

I would bet SI doesn't have any better info on the Packer salary cap status other than what they want to make up.  If they made a call to GB they would not get any info and the NFL likely would not divulge any teams salary cap status - and those are the only two entities that know the truth.  The Packers have been 9-10 mill over the cap regardless of how many players restructure.  Someone is lying.

Z Smith adjusts his contract.

@FieldYates: In his restructured deal with the Packers, Za'Darius Smith had his $5M roster bonus and $9.76M of his base salary for 2021 converted into a signing bonus. That created $7.38M in cap space for Green Bay.

Smith's cap # goes up for 2022, when he could be an extension candidate.

@TomSilverstein: By the way, Za’Darius Smith’s cap number for β€˜22 is now about $28M. They will be very motivated to extend him this year.

And now for a comment focusing on FOOTBALL!

I’m watching NFL network as the rubes there discuss how the Packers have already lost Linsley, Kirksey and Jamaal Williams!  Oh my!  Silly people.  I look at what they’ve done and considering the cap situation is commendable.  I’d even say they are looking like they’re going β€œall-in” (which the nfl network says they are apparently NOT doing).

Can’t wait for the draft.  I was very concerned about losing many key players during the off season, but I think the FO is doing a great job.  Add in 10 draft picks and this is going to be interesting.

Also hoping that we can sign Swerve for next season.  I really think his speed and pre-snap motion adds a lot to our offense, and I didn’t like Tavon Austin in the same role.
