I like MM but he has to take accountability as well.  His conservatism at the end of the game was BS!  He needs to develop a killer instinct,  Pedal to the metal until you reach the fourth quarter with a at least a four score lead.  Fk this protecting the lead crap and prevent D - I am just sick of that sht.  As for RTFB - yeah if its not too damn predictable.

man how could he not be gone???   I've never seen as many reasons to fire a coach as I have this season with Slocum and that was after several questionable at best seasons prior.   And then this last game... the dude really let me down with the fn fake field goal crap, how do you not protect the 1st down and TD 1st?  sending players to go for the block?  why???   damn that made me mad and apparently still is pissing me off.

if Slocum calls the safe play on the fake field goal, we win that game,  Something as simple as making the most obvious play call ever.  Man, he can't be that GD stupid.

I give him no credit for Mason's success at all this year and I blame him for Masthay's regression, everything he touches sucks.

He's gone I tell ya

Yep.    those tweets about TT checking out the ILBs were nice to see.  I'm sure that he checks out all of the positions but still.

Would have been nice to keep Jumal Rolle, looks like he was one that got away.  I'm a little worried about life after Tramon, and a cheap, good CB like that would have been a perfect fit.  House should be cheap but injuries seem to keep him off the field and he has some big misses at times.

House really was the only player that wasn't completely embarrassed by Julio Jones, but he can't stay on the field and doubt if TT will go there unless it's bargain-basement pricing. Tramon wants to remain a Packer and I expect a short-term deal with the Packer discount to be hammered out.

As far as Jumal Rolle goes, that's a move I'll never understand.

Pete Carroll: You sure it will work???

Chad Morton: Trust me. He's a dumbass. And if we need an onside kick I've got some thoughts on that too.

The sting of this one never going away.

I think this would qualify as disaster porn.

We watched the defense improve significantly after the bye this season. Good coaching.  Imagine how much better they can be if Thompson fixes his ILB mistakes.

On Special Teams, several wise posters said "Special Teams could cost this team a trip to the Super Bowl". ****

Slocum must go !!!

The problem is that he should never have been here to begin with. He literally cost this team a likely Super Bowl trophy (with all the stuff happening in New England right now).

The three biggest negative plays of the season were the punt return TD Buffalo had, the Seahawks fake FG TD, and the Seahawks onside kick. You could argue that the punt return TD and the onside kick were execution, not coaching. The fake FG is almost all on scheme.

Bradford must really have been terrible in practice to never have been active.

Not a huge deal because the Packers still had a chance to win the game at the end, but does anyone know why Lynch wasn't fined for taunting on his crotch grab on the TD?  Seems like a pretty easy call, we've seen a lot less called (Nick Collins in the Super Bowl for instance).

Yes, Lynch was fined $20k for his crotch grab

Meanwhile, back in Green Bay, Clay Matthews was fined $22k for his "illegal" hit on Russel Wilson.

Which is more egregious? You make the call.

probably been mentioned already, but a some speculation that clay had a concussion that he was trying to hide which is why he was out.  makes sense for not being in and why he said such a dumb thing after the game.

As I said in another thread, one of them has to do with player safety, which the league claims to care about.

Er, definitely that Matthews hit. It rattled Wilson for another quarter. Awesome hit. I was LMAO.
