they'd get the ball back with a minute and a half and probably still win. screwed up 2 pt conversion and Burnett sitting down killed. Burnett probably scores

You do realize that it's actually harder to score with less time, no timeouts, and a longer field right? That's something that's in your brain somewhere? Right?

Why would anybody think he could execute his assignment...the reason he isn't playing on offense is he doesn't know his assignments.

As bad as everything else was, this was maddening. 6 plays, 2 yards on offense. Defensive player "went down on his own"

+12th man is a joke, put em behind a little, and they sit on their hands just like every other fan base in the NFL when things aren't going

Yessiree. Between their drone fans and the media slurpers this is going to be a long year.

We get them in Lambeau next season. Will be fun to beat their team's dick into the dirt and then laugh as we win the Super Bowl next year. Barring injuries, mark it down.

I will offer a Plus.  We showed up.  I believed and hoped, but prepared for the worst.  Its going to take awhile to get " what ifs out of my head.   With all the young talents proving themselves this season, I have no doubt we will have a better outcome come next season. Till then....I need to figure out a way to console my self....  Wow... this ones gonna be a tough one.

I am just stalling for 30 more minutes when it will be 5 p.m. out here and I can start drinking and watching the other game on delay. What else is there to do but drink?

Worst thing is, as several who live out here have pointed out, I will have to endure the classless fan base and local sports media for another two weeks talking bout their divine comeback. The fans out here are a$$hats. I hope NE wins and Bilichick spanks them big time.

I'm sorry, there is absolutely no way you can pin anything like that on Lacy. We miss the playoffs last year without him, he is a terrific player and teammate and takes the worst beating I can remember any RB taking in years while making positive plays. Eddie may very well be the least of this team's problems.

The only positive I have is that I watched the game by myself with the computer off, so I wasn't going to make an ass of myself in the chat or game thread.  Of course, the rest of you probably consider it a positive that I wasn't around.

Losing a playoff game like San Francisco two seasons ago or the NFC-CG to Dallas after the '95 season is one thing.  Losing the way the Packers did today is worse than 4th and 26, SB 32, or the NFC-CG in 07.

Won't be able to listen to any sports talk radio.  It's going to be two weeks of the media slurping Seattle and Russell Wilson.  They gave little credit to the Packers last week because of the Bryant non-catch, and they're certainly going to excoriate the Packers after this, and rightly so.

+  it was a wild ride right up til the end.

-  the ride is over

+  It was a very successful season

-   the season is over

+  Rodgers made it through the game

-   He did not play as good as he does healthy

+  Maybe this loss will shake some things up on the roster and coaching staff

-   it was a special year but instead it will be remembered much differently

Lots of blame to go around but take out any one of a handful of mistakes and we would have won this game and there would have been an overwhelming amount of  positives in this thread instead of mostly negatives.

true, without lacy, we wouldn't be talking about this game right now, he is the least of our problems.

Absolutely epic collapse. Team needs a complete evaluation to address their inability to finish and close. A much worse loss than 4th and 26 as far as I'm concerned.

No.....you're wrong.  The Packers owned them....our defense was great.  Hate to say this....but my boyfriend didn't do HIS job..... The Packers should have won the game.   One stinking onside kick with their kicker being 1 for 4 with onside kicks.  Ugh......  Gonna be a long off season.  Still very proud of our team.  My beloved Packers.       and I'll always be a fan.

I'm not trying to say he's not a really good player, but he's not as good as Lynch. I don't want to harp too much on the trade-that-wasn't, I get it, it's tedious. But the fact is, that trade made Seattle stronger, and they've become the biggest roadblock in the NFC for us. But yeah, he's also a punk. And as a value proposition he's overpriced. You're right. Lacy isn't the problem, just a foolish thought on a miserable day.

You are an idiot  , but I'll agree with you here. I see Lacy as Marshawn Lynch with less speed, but a hell of a lot better attitude. And a lot less miles.

Just checking out those Brandon Jackson stats. After all, all it takes is some zone blocking.

Shocking.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Well, there's an ice storm here in the Catskills, and my personal life is a ****ing mess right now, but of which played into the decision to be at home and watch the game on TV rather than even listen on the radio.

Rodgers spot on. Offense played not to lose at the end

Privately the Packer coaches will say the same thing. But I still can't get over Burnett's decision after that interception. Bostick did what marginal players do in pressure situations. That's why you try not to put them in those situations.

I wondered immediately if he was even supposed to be attempting to catch that ball, what with Nelson standing directly behind him. Suck on the no catch, but probably bigger suck on not getting out the f'ing way.

He was supposed to block on the play, Nelson was behind him to catch the ball.  The guy Bostick was supposed to block was the guy who recovered the ball.

Saw Bostick's comments after the game. Admits he was supposed to block for Jordy, "tried to make a play" when the ball came to him. Said the team wins if he doesn't make the mistake. Let the team, the community and his family down.

Everything he said was true, have to give the young man credit for facing the music. Having said that he should not be on the roster next year.

Sounds very much like it. Some pointed quotes in his post game PC.

Plenty of blame to go around, Aaron. Maybe if you hit some of those gimme passes to the backs or not throw it to to Sherman. You're not a Viking but you live in a glass house too.

Thought gary anderson's Badgers coaching job against LSU was the worst I had ever seen. Gave LSU the game in the second half.

This one by mccarthy and his henchmen is just about as bad. Why hawk sniffs the field is a mystery. And could someone have gotten mccarthy's face out of the donuts long enough to tell him sherman was playing with one arm? We score 6 points off 5 turnovers. And mccarthy is an O genius. Gimme a break.

This was farrrrr worse than 4th and 26. This was a rogue's gallery of 4th and 26s lined up one after the other.
