He’s the guest speaker at an astrological event. A “masterclass,” if you will. Specifically, an Astrological Immersion Party aimed at helping the participant “fall in love . . . with YOU” through the “ancient science of astrology.”
That's what we all have thought the problem was for AR, that he didn't love himself enough.
It’s that he doesn’t love Love enough.
Ugh. Why did he have to do this now? Couldn't he have waited until he was some other team's problem?
Can we still purchase tickets through ticket master or is the event sold out? Asking for mysel....a friend.
Believe that's the first (and hopefully the last) time I've heard astrology referred to as a science.
You must live a sheltered life. It sort of is science-adjacent, very loosely speaking, I suppose. They apply mathematical and scientific principles to a foundation not supported by either.
Pseudoscience is what it is. Very charitable to say that AR holds some quite unconventional beliefs (my own view is he's a bit of a kook).
I disagree, it's actually smart. Rodgers has been building a case for a CTE lawsuit eventually. It's at least better than scamming the welfare system.
I’m a Pisces . We typically don’t believe in astrology.

Has he done his ghee cleanse this year?
I've intentionally been trying to avoid the Rodgers news / talk. Someone give me the quick version. Isn't there less of a cap hit if he is traded after a certain date? So they could have a deal worked out with LV but they won't actually pull the trigger until, say, July 2nd.
Yes. Before June 1 it's like $40 million in 2023. After June 1 it's split not quite 50/50 between 2023 and 2024.
Thanks.. see ya in 3 months.
Baffled why theses type of off-field, non-football, off season, “do on my own time” things draw the ire, or quite honestly, the interest of people.
Wow. A person has a quirky habit or interest. Who knew?
Sportsbook odds for Rodgers updated overnight, now -450 for the Raiders. Was +750 for the Raiders before. -450 is HUGE. Either a trade to the Raiders is imminent or someone in at Draftkings really f'd up.
Edit: also Packers currently at +600. That's perhaps an even bigger story. Packers were negative before last night.
I will bet that people will bet on anything.

Raiders are heavily favored to land Rodgers. They are saying there's now an 80%+ chance he ends up being traded to the raiders, when last week it was closer to 10%. That kind of move in a week either means a deal has basically already been made and it's just a matter of time before it becomes public, or some odds maker in Vegas is going to end up at the bottom of Lake Mead.
Swings this large usually don't happen unless someone has inside info. Casinos aren't usually in the habit of losing money. As for the payouts:
$100 on Packers wins $600.
$450 on Raiders wins $100.
It's fairly crazy that the payout for Rodgers to stay on the team that currently has him under contract would be so large, unless a deal to trade him elsewhere was already basically done. Or at least, that's what the odds are saying.
This just in, Rodgers is nuts:
Rodgers said he has not even decided yet whether he’s going to play in 2023.

“That’s why I think it’s going to be important to get through this week and take my isolation retreat and contemplate all things my future.”
He called it a “darkness retreat” for four nights alone.
Rodgers said he will be in pitch black all day and night for four days and nights. “It’s really sensory deprivation isolation.”

He said it stimulates DMT and there can be some hallucinations.

Anyone else notice @Fond Du Arrigo / @Sam_Barrington_ has neither confirmed nor denied this...
In other news: Rodgers says Philly line is great, game often won in trenches.
Also, he is going on a solitary 4 day depravation retreat in dark room. Perhaps he will find answer to play/not play when he emerges into the light.

Know when to fold 'em.
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
Someone needs to call him imitating Cheech and Chong.

Translation: Bets were coming in heavily and bookmakers adjusted the odds accordingly in order to maximize their take.
Q. What does Josh McDaniels think about it?
A. "Here's your QB...deal with it..."
I wouldn't call this a done deal, despite the oddsmakers.
In the meantime he is keeping all of us in the dark too.
Yep.

I hope Saturday Night Live can figure out a way to make a skit out of Rodgers’ “darkness retreat”. That’s the kind of thing Seinfeld would have dedicated an episode to if the show was being put on today.
