Does AR12 get a flashlight so he can aim when he has to pee or does he have one of those astronaut tubes he shoves on his johnson when he has to go?

A 4 ft pvc pipe works great on my boat.

He's going to hold it for 96 hours.  When he comes out of the darkness he will look like King Kong Bundy.   Or Eddie Lacy.

As soon as Punxasutawney AR emerges and  joins the party things may get moving.  However, I fear we may see 6 more weeks of winter indecision.

With the spotlight on him that shadow will appear!

The Jets will give up more than the Raiders. The Jets think they are a QB away from the SB. I'm also not sure McDaniel wants a superstar QB that's older than him not named Brady. Probably the most the Raiders will cough up is two #1s, maybe just a 1 & 2 like they did for Adams. I doubt Rodgers will accept a trade to the Jets.

I would be ok with that.  I would get some popcorn ready and watch a bidding war between a lunatic owner (Raiders) and a desperate owner (Jets) and see who gives up the most.

I do have to wonder how AR would handle the NY media.  In the NY market he sure won't be getting the soft treatment from the media he enjoys now.

That's why I don't think Rodgers will accept a trade to the Jets. He's probably done in GB. I see a trade to the Raiders, he gets released, or he retires in that order.

No way he's released. The cap ramifications would be insane and everything accelerates.

When AR told Macafee it's been a great 18 years and the Packers will always be home, sounds like a guy who knows the Packers have decided to move on. So it's either a trade or he retires.

It doesn't make much sense to me that Rodgers would want to move on from the Packers.  First 60 million dollars.  Also, he has made demands about re-signing his buddies that the Packers won't necessarily entertain.  But the teams he would be traded to likely wouldn't do that either.  Plus you have to learn a new offense and gel with an entirely new roster.  I think either he stays or retires.

The Jets want Rodgers. So do the Raiders....

Let the bidding begin!

Miami ( Fangio) and Carolina ( Evero) say hello to a QB who dreams of having a top defense.

Both Ross and Tepper are willing owners; Ross just missed out on Brady and Tepper got outbid for Watson.

Carolina also just hired a former QB to be the QB coach - Josh McCown,  working under another former QB - the new HC Frank Reich

Miami has Tyreek and Jaylon Waddle

IF Rodgers agrees to be traded..

Once it becomes known Rodgers is available, yes, other teams not currently on the radar now come out and become interested. While GB is reportedly not willing to consider an NFC team, if the offer is sweet enough, I thoroughly believe they would consider it. Including SF.

While the FO will never say the word, rebuild, with Jordan Love and his first year as a starter, no one is going to realistically believe they are a SB contender. I think they'd be thrilled if Love helps them win 7 or more games in '23.

Continue to load up on young players, draft them and develop, and reset it all for a playoff run in 2025

One thing to keep an eye on is Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.  If they don't tag  him Jackson is due to hit free agency very soon.  So I wonder if one of the teams who could be in the AR sweepstakes could be in play for a younger QB in Jackson.  I don't see Baltimore letting him hit the market but you never know.

I think Jackson is done as a QB that can lead a team to an Owl unless he has a top 5 defense behind him. Too many injuries, too many mistakes and that "tude " to go along with it. He wants Watson money and I don't think there is another idot owner that will give that much.

I think that No NFC  crapola was just some BS conjecture dressed up as a news report. The original comment was tweeted by La Confora on March 5th of 2022 - before the 2022 season commenced and when Denver was in play.

The other source is the dickhead schefter and he's not actually reporting anything, he's just saying what he thinks

“I don’t think there’s anyway the Packers would trade him in the NFC,” Schefter said

He completely made that up.
Neither party benefits from sharing that No NFC  mandate even IF it were true. There's no strategic reason to put it out there and limit your choices and negotiating leverage.

Neither side will even address these lame "reports ", so the media knobs know they can publish and re-publish with impunity. They also know they have a 50 % chance of being correct and that's plenty good enough for the modern media to run with it.

It all comes down to what Rodgers wants. The contract he signed last year really puts him in the driver's seat. The Jets are banking on Hackett giving them an advantage but I see Rodgers as a west coast guy all the way. I can not see Rodgers agreeing to go to the Jets and they will make the best offer. I still think a release is possible if the Packers are truly moving on and Rodgers doesn't agree to a trade.

Why would AR want the Jets? Their OL is a mess and they have few weapons.

Plus, the Jets hired a new passing game coordinator Todd Downing who has ties to both Carr and Tannehill.

Jets have a solid D and decent coach.

The Jets think they're a QB away and saw what happened when Brady went to TB. They will make the strongest offer for Rodgers.

Have they said this or is it the usual BS from sportswriters? Shaky OL, few weapons; why would AR want that?  Fine by me, but would it be fine with AR?
