#Vikings have re-signed fullback Jerome Felton, source says. So, the top three in-house priorities are taken care of.
@nfldraftscout
Well, the first signing today that I really don't like. Jermon Bushrod to the #Bears. Drew Brees made him look good. Can't hold the edge.
@WilliamsonNFL
If happens, not big on Bushrod to #Bears...benefited greatly from Brees' ability to get the ball out...below average starting
@nfldraftscout
Jermon Bushrod's two Pro Bowls are because he played with Drew Brees. And because Pro Bowl voting is a joke. Nothing else.

@PriscoCBS
Ever notice how the traditionally good teams sit back and do nothing the first day. Packers, Steelers, Ravens. Patriots
@PriscoCBS
Look at decision-makers on those teams: Ozzie, Ted Thompson, Colbert, Belichcik, and Jerry Reese. Among the best.

Here's why it was a bad deal. Yikes. RT @AlbertBreer: Jermon Bushrod deal's in Chicago: $35.965M over five years, $17.715M guaranteed.
Wow.

Per his twitter account, Chris Canty to the #Ravens.

#Packers don't get Chris Canty. He signs with Ravens. RT @ChrisCanty99 The ink is dry. It's official http://instagr.am/p/WxpIM7wBnU/

@ProFootballTalk: Greg Jennings could spurn Vikings' offer and stay in GB
@RapSheet: Pack been talking to him all along

i agree with what people are saying about Bushrod. Definitely a benefactor of Brees' ability to get rid of the ball.
I get the same feeling about Cherilus in Indy. He didn't give up many sacks because Stafford got rid of the ball in less than 2 seconds. Luck likes to stand in the pocket and make reads.

It will be interesting to see what they gave him.

Sounds like Cullens deal.

As it turns out, the Packers' doctors wouldn't sign off on Chris Canty after his physical. The Chiefs, Titans and Ravens obviously did.
Interesting.

Packers are putting guys on IR before we sign them now.

hmmm.... more dreads in Green Bay is a good thing
the question is how much an upgrade Jackson is over Benson to justify the huge cost difference.
I know it would be a noticable upgrdae but I thought Benson was running well before he was injured.
Also the choice between Jackson and Lacey has had to enter TT's mind
Eirie mon!
I'm OK with this if it means they wont be spending a 1st round pick on a RB now.
Schefter reporting Peyton Hillis will be paying a visit to GB.
Didn't see that coming.

It looks like only the Vikings and Packers are interested in signing him.
His agent may have been wrong about his value.
A bit on Canty

In most years, Lacy wouldn't even be a first rounder. To depend on him to come in and contribute right away is a scary proposition. I'd rather spend the 1st round pick on an ILB, S or OL. IF this is what goes down, I am OK with it. Jackson is a proven commodity. For the right price, he's worth the risk.
hell yeah....end of coon eraquote:Originally posted by ChilliJon:

What will Jennings' sister do if he re-signs with the Packers?

She finna blow a gasket.
She'll keep spending Greg's money.
i couldnt imagine both Jennings and Jackson being added to payroll.
offensive veterans on a team with defensive needs and a pending Rodgers deal as well

To replace Kuhn? Like that.
@PackerUpdate
Was going to say Hillis "only" averaged 3.64 past 2 seasons. Then realized that's better than Benson, Green and Starks managed in 2012.
sad, but true

According to an NFL source, the #Packers had made an offer to @GregJennings "a while ago" that was worth about $10M per year.
Details
I wonder if the 10 million offer is still good.
If true and the Packers have reduced there offer Jennings may of screwed up big time.

dammit I hope CWood doesnt end up in SF.
Without looking guess Kuhn's longest run of 2012 and Hillis's.
Hillis is basically a FB that can run the ball, yes?
Hillis visit might just be to pressure Sjax to sign with GB already.

If pack bring Jennings back for or around $10 mill, I'd expect to see Hawk or Finley...maybe both, get cut shortly after that
I do not beleive the 10 million offer either. But if i was made Jennongs and his agent were nuts not to grab it at once.

#Packers are doing a ton of work on inside linebackers, as we interrupt free agent news for a moment of draft.
Good...good
