Bulaga, Worthy and Sherrod accounted for in your list??

I have us at 58. 17 cut: QB Young, FB Amosa, CB Means, S Fulton, OT Hughes, S Powell, WR Johnson, WR Walker, C Lewis, C Gerhart, LB Savage, OT Datko, WR White, TE Williams, TE Stoneburner, HB Green, TE Mulligan. 5 to go.

This is a cold day in the business of football. I’ve seen guys throw chairs at the wall and I’ve heard them sobbing and puking in the bathroom stall. I’ve watched players threaten athletic trainers who they blamed for not getting them healthy fast enough or for forcing them onto the field when they weren’t physically ready. I’ve heard guys motherf--- their coaches for taking food off their family’s table. I’ve seen guys flat-out refuse to leave the building and eventually get escorted off the premises. -good read

And if the Packers sign someone's castoff that means another current player has to get cut too. Some good guys are going to be sent packing.  Jolly, Bush, Bostick, Hawk, Miller, Taylor?????

Titans C Fernando Velasco is being released, per source. 16 game starter last season. Can can guard as well.

Velasco is subject to waivers. Was on one-year RFA tender at $2.023 M.

[update:]

Velasco, I'm told, is not subject to waivers. Because of quirk in CBA.

Velasco played well at center before he had to move to LG due to injuries elsewhere.

Former Jets and Rams G/C Rob Turner wins center job for the Titans. Velasco a better player, but he also makes more $$.

Brandon Smith is a fascinating guy. Played WR early but has all the raw skills to be a really good CB. The guy has no idea what he's doing most of the time but a 6'1" 205 lb corner that runs a 4.37 40 has to be given a long look.

Stash him on the PS and try to develop him. Great project guy for Whitt to tinker with.

Injuries for him. I think TT is getting tired of guys with injuries.

One of the reasons from last year that he made the team was that Moses was good at picking up the scheme.  And last year EVERYONE on the Packer defense had trouble knowing what to do with the read option - not just Moses.  So I do think it was the injuries.  If you think you have a healthy guy who is equivalent to an injured player - take the healthy guy.

I was shocked too.  If it's an injury that's been limiting him this year, why do they give up so quickly on him.  Especially after all the patience  they've had with other guys and their injuries.

But for the most part I'm pleased with the cuts vs. the kept players.

Very disappointed that Walker was cut.  Sure hope he clears waivers and can work on our practice squad. I also thought either Stoneburner or Mulligan would be kept.

there are 4 cuts left?  I'd be happy to see Quarless cut, speaking of guys that we've shown extreme patience for, and who has not paid off with his performance.

I also have to regarding the backup Center who was cut--"Party on, Garth!"

16:00 – A Top Rated Center Cut

In 2012, our 11th rated center was Fernando Velasco of the Titans with a +11.1 Overall Rating. This year the Titans are opting for a better pass protecting center in Robert Turner, which sent Velasco to the bench. As a backup he has a terrible first game against the Redskins trying to play guard with a-4.4 rating.  He played average after that in his other pre-season games, but the Titans must have decided his productivity was not worth his salary. - Pro Football Focus

I have us at 56. 19 cut: QB Young, FB Amosa, CB Means, S Fulton, OT Hughes, S Powell, WR Johnson, WR Walker, C Lewis, C Gerhart, LB Savage, OT Datko, WR White, TE Williams, TE Stoneburner, HB Green, TE Mulligan, LB Moses, CB Nixon. 3 to go.
