From the NFL's own statement.

@adbrandt: "The NFL concluded that Hardy violated the Personal Conduct Policy by using physical force against Nicole Holder in at least four instances"

IMO ten games is a pittance, then. Ban the son of a bitch.

EDIT: More info coming out.

@JasonLaCanfora: NFL says  he used physical force against her which caused her to land in a bathtub, threw her on a futon covered w/rifles...

@JasonLaCanfora: NFL also says Hardy put his hands on her throat and left visible mark and threw her against a wall. Pretty damning and disgusting stuff...

Interesting. Guess they learned a thing or 2 from the Ray Rice fiasco

I wonder if some of these "exhibits" will be leaked before/if Hardy wins his appeal.

How 'bout them Cowboys.

@MikeGarafolo: From me and @alexmarvez: Greg Hardy involved in verbal altercation with Cowboys teammate Davon Coleman today, per sources.

@MikeGarafolo: Sources say the argument between Hardy and Coleman began during conditioning drills. Teammates separated them. Full story coming.

Hardy probably not used to someone who can actually fight back.

When I want to make a good first impression with an employer, I ALWAYS lay a couple haymakers on the new accounts receivable guy during the Icebreaker session of Employee Orientation.

Apparently Coleman called Hardy a woman beater and that was that.

Good to see Hardy pass this hurdle getting re acclimated into the NFL in what's sure to be the first of many more tests of his new found demeanor.

This isn't ending well.

Jerry Jones knew the following :

The NFL’s investigation concluded that Hardy violated the Personal Conduct Policy by using physical force against Nicole Holder in at least four instances. First, he used physical force against her which caused her to land in a bathtub. Second, he used physical force against her which caused her to land on a futon that was covered with at least four semi-automatic rifles. Third, he used physical force against her by placing his hands around Ms. Holder’s neck and applying enough pressure to leave visible marks. And fourth, he used physical force to shove Ms. Holder against a wall in his apartment’s entry hallway.

“The net effect of these acts was that Ms. Holder was severely traumatized and sustained a range of injuries, including bruises and scratches on her neck, shoulders, upper chest, back, arms and feet,” Commissioner Goodell wrote. “The use of physical force under the circumstances present here, against a woman substantially smaller than you and in the presence of powerful, military-style assault weapons, constitutes a significant act of violence in violation of the Personal Conduct Policy.”

...and he still signed Hardy to be a Dallas Cowboy.

Nice show of morals Jerry

Mark Sanchez was quoted saying the reason Tim Tebow was brought to Philly was to be another camp arm while Sam Bradford is recovering.

I've been trying to come up with an equivant to this. The best I could do:

Albert Pujols teaching Lester Hayes to sing with Hellen Keller monitoring the progress.

I never understood giving up those picks to move up for a guy who was awfully light to be a 3-4 OLB and asking him to play with his hand on the ground.

To his....."credit"(?), he didn't test positive, but one of his samples was considered "diluted", which is also a strike.

As for Sanchez, on the off chance he doesn't trip and fumble, he can at least throw the ball with a little accuracy, unlike Teblow.

He was a mid-first and is a part time role player ( albeit a very good one)

Seattle can't afford to tie up a big bag of cash to keep him - so maybe he flies south

4th rounder ?

All things considered, that's a lot better than I thought he'd do.

I'm surprised by his release.

He played in all 16 games last year with 73 receptions in 111 targets for 666 yards and 6 TD's, not overwelming but still solid production.

The 9.1 yards/catch and 3 fumbles were not pawsative.
