I can't believe Seattle lost to New England. The AFC sucks. I'm glad Seattle lost. But I'm never getting over it. New England cheated to beat a ****ty Indy team at home.

Its like Seattle played the SB like the Governor called at 11:55 two weeks before and gave them a midnight execution stay, then called back at 11:56 and said sorry wrong number, then called back at 11:59 and said just joking. Just being alive was a damn gift. They played like it.

Green Bay would have beat the ever loving **** out of New England.

Green Bay beat Seattles ass last year. They didn't finish....

But you don't beat someone down for 58 minutes and lose and come away wondering if you can rebound. That's media BS.  Football players that had a team ready to tap out can't wait for a piece of them again.

Green Bay re-signed their own. Seattle traded for Jimmy Graham.

On to 2015.

Nice staff, Rex.

@TyDunne: #Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested at 1:30 a.m. this morning. Charged with assault and battery. More details soon.

@TyDunne: One source on Kromer's arrest: "It doesn't look good."

@TyDunne: And here's why: According to the Walton County (Fla.) Jail, Kromer's altercation involves a neighbor's juvenile son.

1:30am

Punching a juvenile

I'm guessing alcohol was involved

In California, Drunk in Public is often the go-to arrest when cops don't like someone's attitude.  I read about Bush's incident, it didn't sound like a crime to me.  Prosecutors don't file them for a good reason.  He didn't do anything.

Also, with respect, 4 games for PED's sounds like more than lip service.

But anyway.  It's just Bush.  I agree the bigger picture is Dipschit Disease gone viral. It's like they're not even thinking what's at stake.  Quarless' was especially dumbfounding to me.  I know he's not a Rhodes scholar, but is it really that hard to figure out?

Cap keeps going up.

@AdamSchefter: KC's Justin Houston signed a 6-year, $101M deal that includes $52.5M GTD, richest Chiefs' deal in history, richest LB deal in NFL history.

@AlbertBreer: Justin Houston is now one of 5 non-QBs in the NFL with a $16M/year deal, joining Ndamukong Suh, Calvin Johnson, JJ Watt and Mario Williams.

It puts TT's deals with Jordy and Cobb in perspective.  In fact, you could make an argument that TT's collective deals for Nelson AND Cobb are better than individual contracts signed by Bryant and DT:

The extension that Jordy signed last year made his remaining deal $43M/5 years ($11.5 guaranteed), while Cobb's deal this offseason was for $40M/4 years ($13M guaranteed).  Bryant and DT each got almost $20M more in guaranteed money than Jordy and Cobb combined.

Damn.

According to Andrew Brandt, there is nothing to prevent players and agents from sharing contract and negotiating issues amongst each other.

Jason LaCanfora adds that the agents for Bryant and Thomans are on the verge of entering a business partnership, making it even more likely there was beaucoup information flow.

At least now Dez mom can get off the streets

According to Dan LeBatard, the questions asked of Dez Bryant by Jeff Ireland reveal quite a bit about his parents, and the context of the question regarding his mother. The questions go like this.

Ireland: What does your dad do?

Bryant: Pimp

Ireland: Mom?

Bryant: Works for dad.

Ireland: She’s a prostitute?

Bryant: No, she helps him with other stuff.
