Maybe some of the Bronco brass saw the same many of us did, Peyton's deep ball was weaker than ever last year. Wounded Duck would've been an improvement.
I can't believe Seattle lost to New England. The AFC sucks. I'm glad Seattle lost. But I'm never getting over it. New England cheated to beat a ****ty Indy team at home.
Its like Seattle played the SB like the Governor called at 11:55 two weeks before and gave them a midnight execution stay, then called back at 11:56 and said sorry wrong number, then called back at 11:59 and said just joking. Just being alive was a damn gift. They played like it.
Green Bay would have beat the ever loving **** out of New England.
Green Bay beat Seattles ass last year. They didn't finish....
But you don't beat someone down for 58 minutes and lose and come away wondering if you can rebound. That's media BS. Football players that had a team ready to tap out can't wait for a piece of them again.
Green Bay re-signed their own. Seattle traded for Jimmy Graham.
On to 2015.
Right on, Chili.
September 13th can't get here soon enough.
Nice staff, Rex.
@TyDunne: #Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested at 1:30 a.m. this morning. Charged with assault and battery. More details soon.
@TyDunne: One source on Kromer's arrest: "It doesn't look good."
@TyDunne: And here's why: According to the Walton County (Fla.) Jail, Kromer's altercation involves a neighbor's juvenile son.
Beach chairs and fishing poles baybee!
The neighbor kid probably deserved it....Ding-Dong ditching is not a victimless crime!!
1:30am
Punching a juvenile
I'm guessing alcohol was involved
Full Kromer report is out. After allegedly punching one boy, threatening to kill his family, his son helped others retrieve fishing pole.
â Tyler Dunne (@TyDunne) July 13, 2015
Report "It was determined that Kromer did willfully & intentionally strike (victim) against his will... causing bodily harm to his left eye"
â Tyler Dunne (@TyDunne) July 13, 2015
Judge at Kromer's trial - "Can anyone give me one solitary reason why this man deserves anything other than spending some real time behind bars?"
Kromer's attorney - "He once told reports Jay Cutler was a team wide cancer?"
Judge - "Case dismissed"
Jerrett Bush suspended for 4 games (not currently under contract) for being arrested for public intoxication, but no charges filed. Strange one to me.

ESPN citing a source that says it was for PED's. Perhaps the Packers knew about this and thus why there hasn't been any interest.
WTF is going on? Not that I thought these guys were freakin' choir boys but a god damn epidemic of stupid occurring.
The Boot better get to ****ing work.
Bush should demand his (PED's) money back!
Raging stupidity has been running rampant over the last couple of years.
If these guys can't (or won't) learn from other's mistakes, it 'says' they don't care.
Apparently, neither does the league. Lips service only from Baddell.
In California, Drunk in Public is often the go-to arrest when cops don't like someone's attitude. I read about Bush's incident, it didn't sound like a crime to me. Prosecutors don't file them for a good reason. He didn't do anything.
Also, with respect, 4 games for PED's sounds like more than lip service.
But anyway. It's just Bush. I agree the bigger picture is Dipschit Disease gone viral. It's like they're not even thinking what's at stake. Quarless' was especially dumbfounding to me. I know he's not a Rhodes scholar, but is it really that hard to figure out?
Cap keeps going up.
@AdamSchefter: KC's Justin Houston signed a 6-year, $101M deal that includes $52.5M GTD, richest Chiefs' deal in history, richest LB deal in NFL history.
@AlbertBreer: Justin Houston is now one of 5 non-QBs in the NFL with a $16M/year deal, joining Ndamukong Suh, Calvin Johnson, JJ Watt and Mario Williams.
Kid must have been wearing a hoodie or sumting.
@TyDunne: Also, can confirm that Aaron Kromer's alleged victim is 5 foot 8, 140 pounds. (He's 6-4, 210). As @AdamBenigni noted last night.
It makes one even angrier when the person challenging your dominance is young and small. Just ask AP.

Dez Bryant deal: 5 years, $70 million, per @RapSheet

Silly money flowing today.
Patriots and kicker Stephen Gostkowski beat franchise-tag deadline and agree to four-year deal. Ballpark total value of $17m.
Holy ****. Look at that guarantee.
@mortreport: Dez Bryant and the Cowboys have agreed to a 5-year, $70 million contract with $45 million guaranteed. Not signed but will be shortly.

Just read Kromer might claim self-defense. Also, Kromer's son is being arrested. link
@MikeTanier: I pity the poor #Broncos intern who has to keep whiting out "Bryant" and replacing it with "Thomas" on contracts for the next 44 minutes.
No collusion here.
@AdamSchefter: Denver and Demaryius Thomas reach agreement on matching 5-year, $70 million deal that includes $43.5M GTD, per source.
Can't believe either of those guys 'settled' for less guarantee than a lowly LB.
They will be wanting to re-do their deals...
It puts TT's deals with Jordy and Cobb in perspective. In fact, you could make an argument that TT's collective deals for Nelson AND Cobb are better than individual contracts signed by Bryant and DT:
The extension that Jordy signed last year made his remaining deal $43M/5 years ($11.5 guaranteed), while Cobb's deal this offseason was for $40M/4 years ($13M guaranteed). Bryant and DT each got almost $20M more in guaranteed money than Jordy and Cobb combined.
Damn.
TT's collective deals for Nelson AND Cobb are better
Since both DT & DB got about the same deal, can the league counter sue for player collusion?
According to Andrew Brandt, there is nothing to prevent players and agents from sharing contract and negotiating issues amongst each other.
Jason LaCanfora adds that the agents for Bryant and Thomans are on the verge of entering a business partnership, making it even more likely there was beaucoup information flow.
I'll bet eleventy billion dollars that in the year 2030, Jordy will have more in his bank account than both of these knuckleheads combined
As will Randall Cobb.

Love it. A whole bunch of cap space will come crashing down when Dezzy goes to jail.
Dezzy goes to Jail.
Great title for his first children's book. Just has to find someone to write it for him.
'Dezzy Does Dallas' was already taken.
Dezzy loses an earring.
Dezzy learns about overturned.
Dezzy gets emotional.
Dezzy and the debt collector.
Dezzy makes a shiv.
The hardest part of writing books is material and experiences. Check.
I wonder if Bryant will cry for his QB when Romo has the inevitable failure?
At least now Dez mom can get off the streets
According to Dan LeBatard, the questions asked of Dez Bryant by Jeff Ireland reveal quite a bit about his parents, and the context of the question regarding his mother. The questions go like this.
Ireland: What does your dad do?
Bryant: Pimp
Ireland: Mom?
Bryant: Works for dad.
Ireland: Sheâs a prostitute?
Bryant: No, she helps him with other stuff.
