@JosinaAnderson: I'm told the #Giants are working out WRs Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks, among other players today, per their regular kick the tires Tuesday.

Do you think JJ does as well with Eli tossing him the rock? I don't think so. The Giants can look stupid for giving up on him, but Eli is no AR. JJ may have done a good job in preseason but how many times do we all say "It's preseason!" Can't fault Giants for cutting JJ, can only thank them!

Interesting, I didn't realize that neither Nicks nor Welker are currently signed or playing for anyone.

Nicks kind of fell off the radar after leaving the Giants and I'm not sure what the issue is with Welker unless it has something to do with concussions/injuries. I think he only played about half the season with the Donkeys last year.

The Patriots filled the open spot on their 53-man roster by promoting DT Khyri Thornton from the practice squad. The team had an open spot after releasing LB Dekoda Watson on Tuesday. Meanwhile, four players were signed to the practice squad: DB Brandon Dixon, OL Sean Hickey, WR Austin Hill and LB Eric Martin.

This calls for a Kworst like bashing of the Packers for giving away another all pro player.

Didn't really know where else to put this but um..

Whoops.

Due to an ailing knee, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz hasn’t played a competitive football game in months.

And while he’s been on the sideline, Cruz has apparently been consoled by numerous side chicks. But that’s all about to come to an end, thanks to a group text message supposedly sent by Cruz’s fiancÃĐe, Elaina.

Elaina allegedly sent out the following text to all of Cruz’s supposed lady friends, which ended with a directive for all of them to “exchange notes.”

Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White wants out. ~mw

This should help things along:

For me, at the end of the day, I want to catch passes. I'm not out here just f---ing around just to sit around to just block f---ing people all day. It's not what I want to do. I've contributed to offenses for this franchise for the last nine, 10 years. It always bothers me when I go out and don't catch any balls in a game because it hasn't happened in so long.

Nothing like a good attitude to score them interviews.

The Myles White-James Jones trade has to make you laugh.  I was very much on the James Jones bandwagon but I never thought he would be producing at this level.  I don't even think Adams being hurt is the reason; I just think he's making the most out of his targets (21 total in 4 games seems crazy low for 317 yards and 4 TDs).  To put that in perspective, 21 targets ranks tied for 61st, yet he ranks 14th in yards and tied for 2nd in TDs.  Hope he keeps it up for 15 more games.

Getting ahead of myself, but it'll be interesting to see what TT does with Jones in the offseason.

I'm continually amazed about how many guys in this league are all about themselves.

Actually, I'm not.

Heck, Matt Ryan has not been getting passing plays called around the red zone either. They're running the ball a lot more this year.

Roddy White is crazy, he knows the name of the game.  If he gets open, he'll get the ball, but when you have a monster Julio Jones on your team, your not going to get a ton of looks.  On top of that, Hankerson has been playing better.  All it takes is an injury, and Roddy White will be back getting his "normal" targets.

Way to have a team attitude.
